This dude knows the meaning of tutorial. He's very detailed and explains everything he's doing to a T. Learned more from you than I did in barber school. Thank you. Keep the vids coming.
Yo kann mad respect bro i love that little advise you gave for the young barbers to stay away from negative topics when it comes to talking to clients. Its not only professional buts it keeps the admisphere clean and respectalble. Thats what seperates good barbers frm professional barbers. 👍👍👍
I think against the grain gives you a more accurate cut. With the grain you have to ensure you apply the same amount of pressure throughout the entire cut. It also allows you to attack the swirls with no problem. At the end I'll lay it down
Thanks bro very detailed and we need more barbers like you who respect the craft! This is my passion and I can tell when someone else is passionete about cutting hair or not
What would look better since I wanna cut my curly hair off with the grain or against the grain I wanna get an 8 on top but I don’t want it hella short of big I want it fresh what would look more fresh
I'm currently coming to the end of a "college course" in the UK and they keep telling me it's wrong when i cut with the grain, i mainly do it when trimming the beard 🤦
@@sixsense6161 i don't have professional studies for this, but i cut my own hair since i was 17, for my experience i can tell that if you have straight hair you can have a better haircut if you have a regular cut on sides (1-2 inches) and you can comb and cut at the same time it as you like, cutting with the grain. Cutting against the grain needs more skills and technic, and for modern haircut i think its better (fadings, super short cuts). But if you want a classy look and you are able to see the cowlicks, the natural waves etc etc, the best thing you can do is going with the grain. Exemple: #5 clipper on side and #10 clipper on top, and you are a true gentleman.
I usually go w a 3 against the grain but my hair looks super puffy and frizzy the next day should I ask my barber for a 3 with the go lower w a 2 with the grain ?
@@conceptbarbershop I be asking for cutt like this but my barber never gets it all the way he does good but I want what I show him how do I go bout getting the exact cutt I want I need tips?

Everytime you explain the cuts I feel like you try to talk to the rhythm of the background music. It makes me smile everytime

Did you swap out your magic clip blade for a taper blade?
Alfred Drayton thank Alfred! I just kept the original blade that it came with
Can I get the same fade results if I were to swap out the original magic clip blade for the taper blade?
Thanks
I still set guidelines but I'm using your technique when blending from 0 to 1/2 and 1. Been making my blends cleaner. Btw great video!
Lun Yang Nice!! That’s what’s sup!! I’m happy to hear that
will a 4 with the grain cut the same length as an 8 against the grain?
For me, with the grain (especially in longer haircuts) you cut more gently and the hair is less stressed and natural

So a 8 against the grain is the same as 4 with the grain???
Kinda yea
Quarantine 2020... fin give myself a haircut now. Wish me luck everyone.
I know this has nothing to do with this video but are you Hispanic or Asian 🤔
Zavier Green he's Asian he said it before
A lot of Hispanics from the west coast look asian so it’s hard to tell who’s what sometimes
Clean ass taper bro.👌
Hey at the very beginning when you’re going with the grain with a number 4, is the lever open or closed or halfway?
Did he say 4 on the top? Going with the grain
So shocked that he use the wall sidekick with all of these other shop trimmers out there
can you make a video of what clippers we need to buy?
Flix yeah i was thinking about doing reviews and sharing my thoughts on some of the clippers out there

Madd Dubbs about an 8
Aye man I know this a stupid ass question but how do you cut with or against the grain?
Jayr23s going in the direction of the growth of the hair is with the grain. I tried to explain this is the beginning. Hopefully it helps 🙏
What up kann about how long did that cut take and what do you charge for it???
Sub godd77 i usually take an hour, and this client gives me $60 every time

The upside down u?😂 you mean a n?🤣
Elemental Wolf lol 😂
Conversation has no correlation to your cutting skills bro it don't matter the topic you just focus on cutting
the content of the video is different from the title, which is disappointing and misleading.
