Thank you for this Video. I have a older thermostat unit (15++yrs old) in My upstairs bathroom floor that stopped working/heating and needed to figure out what was going on. I contacted the number given in this video and spoke with a gentleman at Warmly Yours. He figured out that the wall thermostat power relay/transistor went bad and that I would need to replace the wall thermostat unit. The guy was great. He offered me a brand new replacement thermostat at 50%. Sold! Done! Fixed! Very Happy! Cheers.
I have the same issue. I measured the load -- floor heating element -- and it is 22.5 ohms. The thermostat turns on the relay as I can hear the relay click, but the contacts appear to not close. I guess it isn't repairable and needs to be replaced.
If you give our tech team a call, they can help you identify whether it does need to be replaced. If it is the model shown in our video, that is most likely the case since it is the older unit that has been out for some time. Feel free to give us a call 24/7 at (800) 875 - 5285
@@Warmlyyours Thank you for your reply. I checked all the connections. I find that if I tap the device fairly heavily, it will work for a cycle. Seems like the relay contacts have failed. I ordered a replacement unit.

The A in the bottom right corner stands for "Ambient". You can choose how the thermostat adjusts for heating between "floor" and "ambient". Ambient means it will take a reading of the air temperature rather than reading the floor sensor temperature to adjust for heating.
Hi, great video. My floor began heating up to an uncomfortable level after years of working perfectly. It is not reacting to the thermostat temperature but only stays at this high temperature. Google inquiries say I probably need to order a new thermostat (10 years old). What are your thoughts?
Hi Anita, It definitely sounds like it might be time to order a new thermostat. It also could be something wrong with the floor sensor if you have it operating on this setting. Please give our tech team a call to discuss further - 800 875 5285. They're available 24/7 and can help you figure out what may be causing it.

This is a great vid. Warmly Yours, my face plate goes through the 14 1 15 2 and then turns off and cycles again. Is there any chance this could be the female connection? I've also tried another face plate with the same result. Thanks

We've had a number of power outages this past winter/spring and last evening I noticed our bathroom floor thermostat flashing 14/15 and every other symbol on the screen. Perhaps the unit needs replacing as it's old or the power surge when BC Hydro connects again has zapped it. I've tried to reset with no luck -- I didn't realise I could take the control panel off so I'll start there. Is there a battery which operates this kind of control?

Hi there, we have a thermostat manual for this particular model. You can find mor information about the "LO" error message here: www.warmlyyours.com/en-US/publications/INSTALL-TH115-AF-GA-08-A.pdf It looks like this happens when "the measure temperature is below the display range. Hi Cody, I'd recommend giving our tech support team a call - it might be time for a replacement since these are older units for these systems. You can reach us at (800) 875 5285
The ER message sometimes occurs when the TH115 -series thermostat expects to read a floor sensor and cannot. If those wires are not installed, then the thermostat is likely running in 'A' (ambient) mode.
I have the exact same thermostat and the red. Blink and light will not go away. I shut my power off to reset it as ststedcin the video. It just keeps blinking red and GFI blinks
Hi Lisa, It's most likely GFI red light on old th115 unit, not a standby light. If it happens just once a year or so, it can be just a power surge. As long as it resets, should be all good. But please give our tech team a call and they can walk you through the troubleshooting steps to help identify what the issue may be. You can reach us 24/7 at (800) 875 5285.

I can't seem to find any help when my screen shows LO. No one seems to address this issue and how to fix it.
Hi there, we have a thermostat manual for this particular model. You can find mor information about the "LO" error message here: www.warmlyyours.com/en-US/publications/INSTALL-TH115-AF-GA-08-A.pdf It looks like this happens when "the measure temperature is below the display range. Heating is activated." Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
I have the same oke but honeywell I'm not getting any codes.. it's just keeps resetting by itself, I did everything
Hi Cody, I'd recommend giving our tech support team a call - it might be time for a replacement since these are older units for these systems. You can reach us at (800) 875 5285
Mine doesn’t have those wires for the er message
The ER message sometimes occurs when the TH115 -series thermostat expects to read a floor sensor and cannot. If those wires are not installed, then the thermostat is likely running in 'A' (ambient) mode.
I have the exact same thermostat and the red. Blink and light will not go away. I shut my power off to reset it as ststedcin the video. It just keeps blinking red and GFI blinks
We'd recommend that you give our tech team a call then so they can better diagnose what the issue may be. You can reach them 24/7 at (800) 875 5285
My thermostat has shows a standby light instead of off at the power switch. The thermostat goes to stand by by itself at least once a year. Why?
Hi Lisa, It's most likely GFI red light on old th115 unit, not a standby light. If it happens just once a year or so, it can be just a power surge. As long as it resets, should be all good. Please, feel free to give us a call to talk to our tech team directly if it is affecting the usability of the system: (800) 875-5285
I got a newer one but now I get an ER code
Again, please give our tech support team a call so they can further assist. They're available 24/7 at (800) 875 5285. The Error code can be for a multitude of reasons so they'll need to troubleshoot with you what it could be before a solution can be offered.
Mine reaches temp and may hold for a day and goes down to mid 60.. in Manual mode..
Has been in for 15 years..
We'd advise that you give our tech support team a call to help diagnose this. They can be reached 24/7 at (800) 875 - 5285. Be sure to have your order # ready if possible so they can look up your system in our database.
Hi, I DO NOT wish to program anything- I just want to simply turn in the warm floor, and then when I’m done... turn it off
How can I do that?
Hi Steven, we'd recommend our non-programmable thermostat for floor heating, the nTrust: www.warmlyyours.com/products/code/UTN4-4999
What happens when the whole unit has zero display, but is still in the on position?

Great video. My thermostat reboots each time it tried to turn on the heat on the floor. Is there a solution for that issue?
Hi Scott, I reached out to our Tech team and it sounds like the thermostat needs to be replaced. Please feel free to give us a call at (800) 875 -5285 . Thank you!
I am on 3rd Nuheat thermostat "flashing/resetting itself" , Nuheat customer service says these thermostats last 3-5 years. avoid Nuheat thermostat.
Happy Happy Joy Joy music is ok if there is no narration, but please, when there is narration or a person speaking on screen, please forget about the music. Thanks
If this were an "A" you'd see an "A" there? What does that mean?
Hi Katee, Floor heating thermostats typically have 2 different settings: floor temperature and ambient temperature. Since the thermostat in the video showed an "F", Scott was noting that a thermostat running on ambient temperature would display an "A" in that same spot. Hope that answers your question!
I have these in my home AND THEY DO NOT WORK!! they jump from 72f to 84f all the time. No good!!!!
Hi Yvonne, If it is not working and it's a model you purchased from WarmlyYours, please feel free to give us a call and our tech support team will help you diagnose the issue. These models have not been sold in several years so it is also possible that it is simply time to replace it - but our team can help you figure out if that is the case over the phone. You can reach us at (800) 875 - 5285
I have had this thermostat since december of 2014 and never had a problem. Today the thermostat is blinking the vacation symbol and it will not do anything at all. bathroom is now freezing cold. A remote control was never added and nothing has been changed.
Hi John, definitely give our tech support team a call so they can help you figure out why this has suddenly changed without you re-programming the thermostat. I have the same problem with my Nuheat thermostat. A friend who knows these thermostats says it is an "date obsolescence software bug" forcing you to buy a new thermostat. I am on my 3rd thermostat in 7 years. Try using other brands if you can and hope for best.
