I have made many hinterlands , in cotton jerseys, long sleeves , short sleeves for summer, then layer for autumn , cord sleeveless, cord long sleeves for winter …….I LOVE the hinterland, my all time favourite dress
I live in the tropics in Australia and I just wear my first version of the hinterland dress all the time…it’s made from a thrift shop heavy cotton blue and white sheet…. So comfy and practical..I’ve made one with capped sleeves from a colourful table cloth too…
Love this video! So inspirational to see how you style things. I’d love to see more of this type of thing for your other patterns, if you’re willing 😊 Looking forward to the new patterns
I am starting my sewing journey and I have just finished my first Hinterland toile. This week I’m planning to finish The Dress, so I’ll have my first Sew Liberated piece to start playing with layering my clothes. Thank you for the advice you give in this video to show off your desings successfully.
Love this styling video! Could you please give the source of the green linen fabric that was used for the hinterland dress Meg is wearing? Can’t wait to take the new classes!
I totally bought a pair of Chelsea boots last spring because of Meg!! I love them with EVERYTHING

Hi Karen, glad you found it helpful! This is linen from The Fabric Store: weare.thefabricstoreonline.com/products/gots-organic-linen-caper
Done! A green linen Hinterland will be in my wardrobe this fall! 💚🍁
Pattern emporium ‘be mine’ blouse has great sleeves that would look good under the hinterland…
