This is Brandon's first driving lesson back after failing his driving test.
We did notice a few new driving mistakes in this driving lesson.

I can finally comment on a DGN video and say that I’ve passed my driving test today with 5 minors!
This was my 4th test so if anyone out there see’s this and has a test soon, it’s possible! Just stay motivated and don’t give up if you fail a couple times😇
& also good luck Brandon if you see this, was in the same position as you when I restarted my lessons last month. You’ll get the hang of it after a few lessons then pass!

@@TahirAmeenGaming I always messed up on silly mistakes, first time was 5 minutes into the test I got to close to a car and test got cut off straight away
Second time I got to close to car on a roundabout
Third I messed up on the emergency stop🤦🏾♂️😂
Excellent driving Brandon, i think the nerves got the better of you in some situations which happens to the most of us. Your overall driving is quite crisp. Maybe these next few lessons just to boost confidence is all you need.

Passed my test yesterday, drove so well on the way to the test then the nerves took over and almost ruined it(Stalled going out the car park, turned wipers on while turning out + a few extra minors later on)
It was a good lesson for me that driving perfectly is not required to pass, they just want to know that you are progressing well + can be trusted on the road to not make any big mistakes.
Thanks for all the videos! I do believe I would have failed without them. Watching activly + deciding what I would do at each point in the video was a big help.

It’s coming up to two months since I passed (first time 😇 ) and I have to say, for me personally. Driving lessons are more nervous racking than actually driving. 🤷🏾♂️

Passed my test on the 1/1/2022 and what a weight off my shoulders your videos really helped I could watch for common mistakes and learn what not to do so when my test came up I knew what to avoid failed my first test on the 14/12/21 then managed to get another one booked for the 1/1/22 and was a little hesistant but just went for it and passed :)
Good start to the year passed mine on my 2nd try on the 31st December 👌🏾

I passed on the 26th November (1st time with only 2 minors) and I always struggled with lane discipline and couldn’t seem to get my head around it until watching your videos! I watched a few videos and my driving instructor noticed an instant improvement and asked if I had been using another instructor behind his back 😂 I wouldn’t have passed without your videos!
Nice job! Just take care driving. Always be observant, stay in your lane and if in doubt slow down and give space to drive defensively. If in doubt don’t be frightened to use your horn (better to warn a driver rather than get into a problem!) Happy driving!
Finally can say it! I just passed my test with 4 minors. I’ve been watching you since before I was even old enough to drive and I’m now 18 so thanks for all the videos, they are so helpful!

I have my test the 4th March, when I watch these vids it seems so easy, I'm telling Brandon what gear, to indicate, mirrors but when I'm behind the wheel it just all gets so fuzzy and I start questioning my decisions and panic, it's honestly been one of the most challenging things I've ever done, but, just gotta keep going and I'll get there eventually, good luck Brandon and everyone else who has tests coming up 😘

@ethereal 2.0 it's so frustrating, like now I think about it and I feel I do have the ability to pass but, when I get in that car, just all begins to unravel. Sometimes I can hold it together and do a decent drive. It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one who feels like this, congratulations on passing and fingers crossed I'll be joining you ❤️❤️❤️

Stopped watching once I passed back in December and now I’m back, your videos really helped, I used to watch all the vids with brandon
It actually made me feel a lot better watching Brandon make so many silly mistakes after a little break. We started learning at the same time and my first test is on 26th January and I am hoping to pass. I had a month break and made many silly mistakes on my lesson recently so watching this video made me giggle and lifted my mood! The progress isn't ever linear so it is good to see that everyone has their odd days doing mistakes they don't usually do. PLEASE WISH ME LUCK GUYS!!!! I am so nervous
Got mine the day after.I had a break too, although it was 3 months, because I moved out to uni. Glad to see two other people who needed a warmup lesson lol. Good luck with yours hope it goes well and if it doesn't you find a test soon afterwards

I love that you tell him to talk to himself to help him when following signs/rules. My teacher I had the first few times told me to basically shut up and that no one wanna hear someone talking to themselves (even tho I told her I have PTSD and anxiety and was scared of driving). If it helps you concentrate, you should do it :)

Relate with that nervous feeling of getting back in without having driven for a while. I had a month off when doing my lessons, was bricking it 😅 like riding a bike though comes straight back to you. Pick my car up next month after passing in December so get to do that nervous drive alone this time.

Hey I just thought of an idea! It would be interesting to see the speed the driver was going on the screen at the bottom. I would find it helpful as it would teach me what speed to go on certain roads and entering roundabouts etc.

I passed today in Wanstead, thanks for the video, although I didn't turn in Goodmayes on December 20.2021.
I started learning around the same time as Brandon and have been following him all the way, I've got my first test in 3 weeks, im.so nervous about it and still doubting myself that I'm actually ready as I'm panicking and making mistakes whilst I'm doing private practice but will trust my instructors advice on what they think, still got a few hrs left so hopefully be confident when the time comes, I'm really up & down with confidence at the min.

Had my test today and even up till today I thought I wasn't ready as I was still making stupid errors in my lessons and was therefore dreading the exam, but my instructor said I was ready and said most learners feel that way. I passed with 2 minors today, so yh, I think what you're feeling is very normal, but obviously if you truly think ur not ready then u can cancel it closer to the time. Just wanted to give my view.

It is completely normal to be nervous but your driving instructor wouldn't put you in for your test if they didn't think you was ready. I passed on 22/12/21 with 7 minors. Even managed to whack a kerb but still passed 🤣. They expect you to be nervous so try not to worry. Also people told me to eat a banana before so I ate two haha. It's supposed to help you haha. Hang in there mate, I failed 6 tests over a period of 2 years and a pandemic, passed on the 7th and cried in front of the examiner 😂 Don’t let the fail put you off the end goal, it’s just a small set back.

I passed yesterday so happy ! Second time lucky ! It’s so easy to fail guys it’s so specific and strict the driving test but just don’t get your hopes up try your best and think if you fail you will just try again and you will pass ! Such a good achievement was worth it all! So nice to finally be able to drive by myself it’s a new experience , And going to continue watching these videos for fun !
I’ve got my 1st driving test tomorrow 😅Tonight’s lesson was a bit all over place since not had a lesson since 21st Dec so more nervous now , going to spend my night and tomorrow morning watching your videos been so helpful

Back in November, I failed my mock test by not slowing down on time before priority junctions and roundabouts. The examiner told me not to forget I’m not a rally driver. On December 9th I passed my driving exam, 1st try with only 2 minors.
What helped me with slowing down on time was saying things out loud. Whenever I said ‘there’s a roundabout’ or ‘I have to give priority to people coming from the right’, I took my foot off the gas pedal and let the car ‘roll’ forward.
I have failed mine for the 5th time today! Was roling back after pull out!
I am ready but there are no available test dates. It is impossible to book a test and cannot use the cancellations app as you need a test booked. :/

I passed with 9 minors on the 31st of December, my instructor was expecting 0-3 but because I was freaking out about being assessed I made loads of silly mistakes. Just glad I passed first time round, getting a test atm is chaos 😅

I have a question, when I learnt to drive 7 years ago I remember having to go into first gear once you've complete stopped (for example at a traffic light) at the moment my partner learning to drive in my car (his already had lots of lesson and his test is next month) he keeps going into 1st gear when slowing down but before he has actually stopped, is this ok? sorry if its a silly question! its something I would do but I just wasn't sure if on test this ok?

Yes it is quite a long time. We were waiting for a test date…. we’ll be doing quite a few lessons now to make up for it
Not really. I had my first test in September 30th 2021 which I failed and then had another test booked for December 21st (which I passed). I didn’t take lessons after my first fail until 2nd December. 3 weeks of lessons after 3 months break and still passed. I think it depends on the individual and how confident they are Tbf. Also keep in mind, first test was in goodmayes and second test was in barking. So 2 different test areas and still adapted to it (they are very similar but barking has more roundabouts, I had to do 5 roundabouts in my second test whereas first test I had none)
i too had failed in october. from then i didn’t have any lessons until i had a cancellation for the 6th january (the day i passed my test). i then had 3 hours lessons (2 hours on one day and the hour lesson before my test)
If you were ready for a test before it only takes a couple hours of driving to get back to that form even after a long lay off.
I failed my test in November (just a silly mistake on my manoeuvre) and I've not had a lesson since. My new test is in April and my instructor recommended starting lessons again end of Feb, one every 2 weeks until the month before my test...why? Because I know how to drive and would have been wasting my money paying to go for a leisurely drive every Sunday!
For a moment i thought he tried to flash the car back and put the wipers on instead😂
Hey i have a question. What caused Brandon to stall when turning right at 17:29 ? I don’t wanna make that same mistake in my test cause I would really panic😅 btw thanks for your videos they’re really helpful!
Went back to see also what it was before it felt like he came off the clutch fine. Feel like he was in 3rd Gear instead of 1st. Because after he switched on the engine again it looked like he switched it back into first.
The reason he stalled ive done that many times when i was learning was he was ready but the car flashed his headlights telling him to go, so he went and lifted the clutch very fast. So he reacted quickly by rushing and he stalled. So just stay calm if they do flash there headlights at you just make sure its safe to go and not rush.

The first 8 minutes of this video he didn’t use his mirrors at all - even after prompting he still didn’t really. I thought he’d do better than that.

Hi I got my first driving lesson in a couple months but people have been telling me I don’t have to do the 10 to 2 thing on the steering wheel I was wondering if that was true
true. most examiners will expect two hands on the wheel at all times unless controlling other functions in the car (like gears and air con). the position of your hands and method of steering generally doesn't matter as long as it's done in a safe way and without loss of control of the vehicle. good luck on your lessons and test.
I failed my test yesterday, I got 2 minors and 1 serious falt. The serious falt was going to slow on a dual carriageway😭

Looks like when you teel them what to do, they tend to obey and maybe learn those moves
