Nice cave finds! Hey, here is a possible solution to checking out those small openings: did ya ever consider dropping a camera down the holes? Harbor Freight makes a couple of relatively inexpensive (below $69 to $169) Digital Inspection Camera set ups with the cam being at the end of a long flexible shaft. They are primarily used for inspecting pipes, but with a little modification, they may work to see what is down the holes too small to get in to. We bought a few to keep on our Rescue Truck when I was a Firefighter (city wouldn't spring for 'em, said they wouldn't be used enough), and they worked great.
so Im setting here eating my bfast on work break..........and i cant wait till the next installment!!!! thanks for the excitement bro!!!! God bless from gburg
Chigg, you should rig up a camera + light on a cable. Kind of like your fishing magnet with a guard to keep it from getting stuck. Then you can investigate the caves without getting yourself in a tight place. Just a suggestion. Keep 'em coming!
Beau! I used your link to upgrade from that 300 to an AT PRO. I did some more price shopping and they really are the cheapest even with the bonus pack. Thank you! See ya here or there! You know me... we met:)Seriously GREAT video by the way!
Chig, I know we don't know each other personally but I have very much enjoyed watching all you videos! Very entertaining as well as educational! I know you know what you are doing but please be careful just the same? Hate to loose ya!
Why didn't you let him stand on your shoulders maybe there was gold in that box. Also you need to get some type of telescopic pole to stick a camera and lights on to sick in some of these holes to see if some of these could be good caves or just dead ends! I've seen telescopic poles that collapse down to about 3ft and extend out to 12ft, this would be just about the right size to take into a cave. then get one of the cheap cameras with wifi and you could use and old iPhone or android phone as a screen. It might be possible to mount a wifi security camera to that pole With PTZ and IR nigh vision, I've seen these cameras for less than $80 online. The only issue you would need to power this type of camera most run on 12volt DC so you would need a small 12v battery like one of those car booster and device charging battery packs should power the security camera for a couple of hours. With the pan an tilt feature of the camera you would be able to move the camera around a bit from the remote app on a phone I think the IR night vision on most of theses cameras is about 30ft. And the resolution is about 720p not great but to safely explore potential cave openings it would be fine.
the chig needs a drone for something like that. not necessarily the quad chopter type but like an rc. or like an inspction scope. bee cool to see into places where a human cant fit :D
There is a cave up near my camp made of completely carved stone and a spring runs right through it. There is also a hole in the ceiling that on the summer solstice, the light shines into it, reflects of the water and goes out the entrance of the cave. the The locals think it was made by the Freemasons in the seventeenth or eighteenth century.
that's dangerous .I just watched a vid of a guy getting stuck while caving .rescuers couldn't rescue him and died in the cave .and still remains there till this day .
The next thing you know, Mikes going to be head first down the hole stuck and you are going to have to call the rescue people and tell them some stranger is stuck in a hole. Because you don't know him. LOL
I went into a cave about an hour from my home here in Ontario. It was small and I got in and could not back out and had to turn around. I got stuck part way around in an awful position. The thoughts of you guys going in that tight hole game me a bit of the willies lol because of that tight cave I was in. I had to really do some maneuvering to get out of the one I was in and came out pretty bruised. The worst thing is while I was stuck there trying to figure out how I was going to get out I had this thought of what if something in the ground shifted or something lol. Crap!
you go alone for the treasure and take help to dig , you are da chiggy. Serious though, it's cool you are passing on these spots to the next generation to enjoy
Where are you from? Seems like I heard you maybe in Virginia. Any hoot as a kid we used to visit our grand parents in a town called Elliston Virginia (Near Dixie Caverns), about 100 yards up a hill from their trailer park, was a small cave of about 3-4 feet wide and God knows how deep. It used to scare us a bit because if you were not careful you could fall right into it (while walking) and with flashlights we could not see the bottom. I do not know if it is still there and covered up, but this video reminded me of it. Like your videos.
Anyone that is looking around on eBay for a metal detector be careful. I saw a good deal on a Garrett Ace 250. I was finally going to buy a better detector. It was around $100 and I thought I would buy this one. They had 10 avalible and they were selling fast so I went and ordered one. The next day I went on eBay to see if it had shipped and the person who was selling the detectors had deleted the account. Now I would like to know is their anywhere I could get a used Ace 250 or something else that would work well. I don't have a lot of money because I am 15 years old and I work for a farmer in the summer so I don't make much money. Any suggestions on what I should buy. My current metal detectors are a low price Bounty Hunter and a Bounty Hunter from the late 70's. My better detector also has false signals quite often and is not very accurate on the location of the signal. I typically end up giving up on certain holes I dug because I never can find anything.
3 things I love about this channel,Hang on to your youthful enthusiasms and never lose your Sense of wonder and adventure. Thanks Aquachigger.

MarshTube82 He got trapped upside down and lived only 8 hrs, wedged in.
MarshTube82 is that the one where they had to bury him in concrete to close the cave down? I just saw that one too.
WunRom yes that is the one .tragic story
U mean John Jones , that died in the Nutty Putty cave ?
Pandora Santos yup, I remember that name. Nutty putty.
Man, you wouldn't catch me trying to get into that tight place...

I'm way to claustrophobic to do that. I live close to Mammoth cave and that's the only one I'll go in. You are braver than me.
No Falling! No !
nice
IT will get you Chigg
Have you test panned the area? I'd check the quartz hole, and the bottom of the cave or culvert, too. At least check with the metal detector for gold?
Chuck Wills Widow? Cool
Aqua please make treasure vids.
You ought to take the metal detector chigger. try it out on the cave floor....you never know.
I don't know Chigg, you may be playing that "old man" card a bit much? =)
Can you bring a selfie stick to lower the camera down in Aqua?
Hey, What's under the dirt in the field behind y'all? Maybe a belt buckle or three??
That mike is a Hoss!

Life-threatening to crawl underground, I should not think about the consequences.
DIBS GO FIRST...........HOLD YOUR BREATH!
