Aquachigger, the excitement you exhibit, whether it's metal detecting, magnet fishing, diving, and any other adventure, is infectious. The amount of time you have to put into just the videos, I'm sure is immense! I'm hooked and have started my own adventures, thanks to you. :) Thanks for the videos!!!

Aquachigger Please don't go caving alone again. I know that your wife is aware of your return time, but what happens if you have a problem in the first 5minutes - If your wife is expecting you to be away for 2 hours and you get injured in 5 minutes then 1hr 55minutes is a long time to wait for help. Obviously you're a big boy and can handle yourself, but you know it's unwise. I'm not trying to sound like an old maid👵😨worrying, but you won't find an Civil War stuff in hospital.

I loved seeing the hibernating bats.
Quick fact each bat only eats just enough insects to sleep through the winter and if they are disturbed they will likely die of starvation before winters end.

@Aquachigger Hello Chigg wow....what a cave I can't believe it goes on forever. I think that was some sort of insect that flew past your head and the etching looked to me like 1760 but I could be wrong on that. Whether your caving, digging, fishing, story telling or just cleaning off old coins I love it. So glad I found your channel.

The diameter of those drill holes indicates they were drilled after WW2 when Pneumatic drills came into their own and miners stopped using the small sticks of dynamite and began using the bigger "Sausage" rolls of the safer blasting gelatin.

I spent 9 years working underground in the coal industry. During the spring and summer months, bugs would follow you underground as they were attracted to our head- lamps. That used to drive me nuts, because if you were not lucky enough to swat it away very soon, they could swarm around your head all night. Your only hope was to turn your light out and hope it would get attracted to someone else's light or a piece of equipment with a light.

Hey Beau I got 3 caves in West Virginia you need to check out! They are owned by the NSS you can find the location on there web site. They are Hamilton which is a maze cave, trout and new trout caves. They are all in the same location. Hamalton is at the top of the mountain it has a room in it that's called the claymation room people have been digging out the clay in the floor and making all kinds of things with it for display in the room! The region is packed with hundreds of caves.many accessible from the road. Some of them are huge! I was a caver for many years but can't do it anymore because of a busted back. Or else I would love to go with you and guide you to all the cool ones! The three are just south of Franklin WVa there is a huge one in Bouden WVa between Elkins and Senaca Rock's it sits right next to a secondary road. Cave rescue does a large rescue trainings once a year there.

I like your caving videos because I get to go caving again without all the claustrophobia and pain. You really shouldn't go by your self Beau. If you had some sort of medical episode, you would be sunk. You should consider visiting Mammoth Cave National Park this summer. There is a lot of history to that cave that I think you would find interesting. They have Wild Cave Tours in addition to the regular tours.
