    Thanks for the info. I was just adjusting the stagger and gearing and sometimes the pressure and right front camber. Now I'll try some of this too, thanks. I remember world of Outlaws 2002 for the ps2 and it seemed simpler.

    Your setup actually helped quite a bit. I went from placing in the back to placing third online in one race

    Setups are like 2 fishermen debating plastic worms or spinner Bates. It's a useless argument because each 1 is comfortable with their preferred bait. It's all about what you're comfortable with. My setup strangely was inspired from Bloomquist doing an interview with Dale Jr.

    I think it's absolutely amazing that they're able to make a video game like this and have The car being adjusted and it feels like it's the real thing. How the heck did they do that.

    Loved this video! I wasn't real sure where to start off with late models haha! I do this same thing for the sprint cars. Online Maxim chassis has a baseline setup for sprint cars and its the same. You gotta play with it a bit, but it's pretty spot on. Great video!

      I’m gonna be looking up the Maxim sheets asap because I’m lost on sprint cars lol.

      @@TheFastFarm I was completely lost on late models until this video lol! I wouldn't even play them much! If you can't find the Maxim baseline setups let me know, I will gladly share the ones I found! Thanks again for this excellent video!

    Would love to know more about your thought process behind certain tire pressures but this is a great start, just tweaking stagger and the j bar to taste and it’s a great driving car

    love your channel. I just started this game, and you hit one something I can't figure out. Did you crack the nut about the car taking a hard right into the wall when you get in the throttle?

    When I’m on bigger tracks with longer straight aways the car handles like shit and I can’t keep it straight what do I need to do

    Appreciate the video. It might seem insignificant and obvious. But the biggest tip for me wasn't really a tip. Just cause I can get a set up that's fast and in qualifying. Might make it impossible to drive during race. Just a race fan. Having more fun with the game. Thank you.

    So after you put the baseline setup down and you want to start tweaking, what do you start with first? For example say your car goes into a corner fine, but it’s a little loose and you want to tighten it up, where are you gonna start? Or flip it, and say your tight and you wanna loosen it a bit?

      Lots of ways to go, but I’ll chase springs typically.

    Any advice for a setup that is stable at the straightaway at port royal because I can't figure out anything it's good in turns but allover the place on the straightaway. Is it the setup or is it my sensitivity because I have my steering sensitivity and rate on my ps4 controller at 60% and my deadzone at 0%

    • @ds6329
      @ds6329 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm no expert and still pretty new but here are a few things you can try that I noticed helped me at certain tracks:
      1. You can try turning down the sensitivity on your controller but now that will change your muscle memory for the rest of the tracks. MAYBE adjust the wheel lock down so the steering will be less touchy.
      2. Try sliding more weight to the rear of the car. I maxed weight to the rear and it felt fine at a cost of forward drive/grip off of a corner. I maxed the weight to the front and felt touchy and gave up haha. Maybe on longer tracks weight to the rear will help.
      3. Try using the tightest slider setup in the recommended setups and go from there. This might be controversial because of driving styles. It helps me for now when learning a track.
      Hope something helps and if nothing helps, hey, we learned something!

      Drop your left front and left rear spring rate by 10lbs and see if that helps.

    I like lots of stagger but iv been seeing ppl on here getting with very fast laps with hardly any stagger. I wish late models had more than 6 inches for certain tracks. Like 12 inches, lol

    • @coreysumeral7905
      @coreysumeral7905 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Less stagger more bite off the corners. Closer the j bars are to bottomed out, more bite off the corner. And cross weight have a lot to deal with bite
