“So the ref is either Ray Charles or he lied” - 🤣🤣🤣 Love your one-liners, Cole! More importantly, thanks for illustrating the need for something to change with replay assist guidelines. Nicely done.
Yeah, that was a vile missed call. The Ram who pulled Darnold's facemask was visibly all bent out of shape about it but probably thought his prayers were answered when it was a no-call! LOL!
I keep telling people that if the refs really wanted to help the Chief's, they wouldn't call back so many of their scoring plays. Two of them last week.
@@OrionGuided they’re the sixth most penalized team, it’s really frustrating when people say stupid crap like that, it’s like don’t even pay attention? LMAO
It was a dangerous move. It actually twisted his face. A very bad call and everyone saw it. Yes full time refs and use replay, keeps everything fare and safer.
Whatever it takes to get the call right AND right away! Keeping the game moving along is advantageous for the players, paying fans and the very interested viewers!
Full time refs! Replay assist for scoring plays, reversing called penalties, and to flag certain uncalled safety related penalties like roughing the passer, unsportsmanlike conduct, facemask, horse collar, etc.
Because the fact that it was not called in the refs are standing there and they’re not reviewing, the replay is becoming an issue. It makes them inconsistent of calling a call for people keep saying well the game was over. They still had a minute and 30 seconds left, they could’ve potentially went down the field. You never know what could happen in a football game.
There were two no calls on that play but everyone is only focused on the facemask. 76 for the Vikings was blatantly holding a defender around the same time and area as the facemask. It should have been offsetting penalties and a replayed down.
What I see on my TV has to reasonably match the results of the officiating. Any penalty that is not purely administrative (neutral zone, too many men, procedural, etc..) should be reviewable. PI is perhaps the toughest as there is a lot of contact that doesn't necessarily affect the route. That aside, the quality of NFL play and the quality of the results are at stake. A horrible call like this in a playoff game will absolutely damage the NFL brand. Something needs to be done about the excessive damage caused to game quality by holding calls. 10 yards is excessive but worse than that, it provides an entry point in the game to make poor human judgement acceptable. Otherwise, It's as if the refs are handicapping the game. Among bad non-calls however, this one is as bad as they get.
I definitely don't agree that they NFL should change any rules. But I will say the NFL needs to be better. That was an easy call but missed are part of it, even when they miss the easy ones.
It's easy to referee from your armchair when they have cameras catching every angle of every play on replay and slowed down so you can see it happen frame by frame. Every critic should try officiating themselves and see if they can meet their own standards.
I think if the refs miss a call that results in a score, but if they would have seen the foul that would have wiped out the 2 points for the safety. SO, I would definitely vote for a play review if an obvious foul is somehow missed by the refs.
They HAVE to make some penalties reviewable. O line holding is SOOOO inconsistent that it’s laughable, and some of these calls absolutely change the outcome.
You know, sometimes that's a commentator's fault. There'll be a bad penalty at the end of the game, like they will say, if they hadn't called that penalty, the outcome would have been different but yet they know it was a penalty so they need to keep their mouth shut. If they see the? Penalty call it
I recall reading recently that, during the game, the refs don’t even have access to the same HD footage we see on TNF. That also needs to be addressed.
In Super Bowl 57, Philadelphia Eagles cornerback James Bradberry was called for defensive holding on wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster towards the end of the game; and many fans said that this should never have been called, that they should let the players play. So this was a good non-call...based on those fans thoughts.
U cannot review every play. 22 players are on the field every play. Looking for holding after every play would make 6 hour games. Totally blowing this 1 call out of proportion is a lie. It was not a facemask he had the helmet itself. Nobody is mad at this game or call there have been much worse calls. Just baseless content. Referees are a part of the game.
Refs should get fined and suspended after review. They need to be held accountable.
good idea!
“So the ref is either Ray Charles or he lied” - 🤣🤣🤣 Love your one-liners, Cole! More importantly, thanks for illustrating the need for something to change with replay assist guidelines. Nicely done.
Should be both full-time refs and replay assistance for none judgement calls
Exactly. NFL can afford some more employees.
This ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️
Stevie Wonder would've thrown the flag on that facemask.
Yeah, that was a vile missed call. The Ram who pulled Darnold's facemask was visibly all bent out of shape about it but probably thought his prayers were answered when it was a no-call! LOL!
"The refs suck, injuries suck, but football is freaking awesome" 🔥
You are so right 😮. Refs miss calls EVERY game on both sides but hey football kicks a** regardless
I wanna see the refs step aside so the Chiefs can show people how dangerous they are when touchdowns aren’t called back lol
I keep telling people that if the refs really wanted to help the Chief's, they wouldn't call back so many of their scoring plays. Two of them last week.

@dencocreations1701 not paying attention, and also probably don't know the rules 🤣
@@OrionGuidedfacts bro these clowns think they know everything about football
If the refs were doing anything to rig a game in the chiefs favor, they shouldn't even ref at all fr
I would vote for paid full-time referees.
Needed. It would help them all be on the same page. And be able to study rules and regs more.

As a coach, I told my players, "There are 3 teams of people on the field. To win, you have to beat 2 of them."
Full time refs! Replay assist for scoring plays, reversing called penalties, and to flag certain uncalled safety related penalties like roughing the passer, unsportsmanlike conduct, facemask, horse collar, etc.
There were 2 facemasks on the same play. One was also on an inside offensive lineman, and they missed BOTH!
I'm just happy it wasn't a Chiefs win under scrutiny. 😂
Why not impose fines on NFL referrers for such obvious mistakes and 3 strikes you’re out.
Because the fact that it was not called in the refs are standing there and they’re not reviewing, the replay is becoming an issue. Yeah. After seeing a team pull it out in 13 seconds, I never think a game is over until the game clock hits 0.
All the money was on Vikings to win...

The refs can't see every penalty all the time. Vikings lost that game already at that point. They had not scored a touchdown since the 1st quarter.
Yet they had that in plain view so no excuse
How did they even miss that, anyway GO CHIEFS!!!

Penalty call it
Except that wasn’t the worst calI of the game. The outcome of the game was, in fact determined by the refs.
