Since MVP has basically come to mean best QB and OPOY is now the best non-QB… you can’t justify giving the award based on “value”. No you give it based on the best QB. These split vote voters colluded to make this vote about them and how they thought the Bills would do and not about analyzing the season as a whole independent of their incorrect expectations. If they truly felt Allen was the best, there would be no qualms, however they did not feel that way… hence why they voted Lamar as 1st team All Pro. You can’t tell me that Lamar being the only QB with a 10:1 TD INT ratio with more than 30 TDs in NFL history, plus the only 900 yds rusher with 4000 yds passing in NFL history… isn’t more offensively a rare offensive achievement than the 2000 yd rusher. So the mental gymnastics of a few voters robbed Lamar of either MVP or OPOY… and I think Barkley deserved to win OPOY (though shoutout to Jamar Chase because he also deserved the OPOY award as well as his triple crown is equally as rare an achievement as the 2000 yd rusher).

Josh Allen is the obvious MVP. And iI dont care what Lamar EVER does. Its MOST VALUABLE player, ie without them, the team tanks. Buffalo w/o Allen is Jax. Ravens w/o Lamar are still the Texans and that aint bad. They got a D, Henry, a good TE who I'll defend, and a great coach. But re SB; here's the riddle "15 sits between 8 and 23 or 24' Discuss.

The thing about Lamar in my mind is how he keeps winning MVP, but can’t get past Mahomes, Allen, or Burrow to play in the Super Bowl. How is he MVP but always comes up wanting? He’s NO MVP in my opinion!!

When you play sports is competitive, so you know when you don’t deserve something that it’s another player better than you gotta suck when you look in the mirror when you’re peers know that you didn’t deserve it. Bottom line is Josh played nearly 3 less games than Lamar. Pro rate that and his stats are as good or better than in almost every category

YES!!! What of buffalo? It's a team sport. This was one of the best RB seasons in history. It doesn't always have to be a QB. I live in KC and am a diehard Kingdom member, but I aint blind. That dude was special this season. Everyone else on the list just did better than their peers.

I have always thought and still do think , these awards are stupid in a sport where exemplary achievements are almost always because of the performance of your teammates. No doubt, Josh Allen is a great QB and deserves recognition. For him , it comes in the form of a very large check.😊

As a fan who follows every team, I think k they got it right. Lamar had a great year stat wise, but he lost more games with a loaded roster. He lost against Josh in the playoffs, when your greatness show show as it did when Jayden Daniels went into Detroit and defeated the overall best team in the NFC. So, to me, stats don't matter if you can't pick up your team and carry them when it matters, and again, Lamar failed while Josh succeeded. That's why he didn't win his 3rd MVP, because he's come up short every time when it matters most, stats aside. The same can be said of Jalen Hurts abd Dak Prescott, because again, in the biggest moments, they both find a way to lose when it matters most.

Josh Allen was a DEI pity award and it was not based upon merit plain and simple Lamar was the true the true MVP he had a HOF season on a tough schedule they discredited Lamar when he had a strong defense they discredited him when he had a back it was BS

MVP should mean MVP, if you take that member out of the team, that team's succes should greatly plummet. It's not a QB award. And not the highest numbers in the player stats should get it. As of the voters, yes, its dumbf@cked why they are the ones who does the voting.

Well let's see, in the Playoffs Josh's Bill beat Lamar's Ravens. Lamar having better stats, in 2019 when Lamar won, Ryan Tannehill had the better passing stats than Lamar AND Tannehil's Titans BEAT Lamar's Ravens in the playoffs. Lamar didn't deserve his first MVP. Lamar has had a loaded roster every season being the starter in Baltimore. His receivers don't have great stats because of Lamar.

I thought the greatest unifying force in our culture - sports in general, but the pro leagues in particular - would remain immune from the viral stew of shallow celebrity influencers down to the toxic depths of the useful idiots pushing Russian dis/misinformation campaigns like QAnon, SovCits, frauditors, anti-maskers, anti-vaxxers, 9/11 truthers, flat-earthers, body builder roid ragers, crypto bros, nuisance streamers, mommy influencers, and pro-Russia war bloggers. I guess the NFL is gonna be dragged into this 💩-pit of immoral anonymous mouth-breathers desperate for clicks, clout & cash. It was fun while it lasted.

I think Josh deserved it! Josh is the second best qb in the league next to Patty. Josh just didn’t have much help like Lamar did. Lamar just doesn’t impress me much bc he can’t win in the playoffs… who cares how well u do during the regular season if u can win in the playoffs to save your life 😂

Josh got it because voters felt bad. The best Quarterback is 1st team all pro. If the best Quarterback is the MVP then that player should be the MVP. It’s a regular season award and if you’re the best during the regular season you’re the MVP.

Personally I believe Saquon Barkley should have won the MVP award but if the award actually become a "QB" award how can Jayden Daniels not win the award for leading a terrible Commanders team to the playoffs and an upset win...
