No entiendo nada en el inglés! Pero me gustas mucho Audrey como explicas aunque un poco entiendo ! Pero eres un crack de explicar como tu padre en el español ! Me encantas tía de verdad ! Eres súper para mi ! Buena naradora ! De verdad , te lo juro ! ❤❤❤
Thanks for the info. Guessing that a visit is in the future for us. Just never really thought about what one might experience up North. Will skip the winter.
Edmonton is nice city. Harriet and I have been many times. When we were living in Boston. We attended many hockey games and I when I was kid got to see the Great Gretzky play. Enjoyed the Edmonton Mall and it's great restaurants. Lots to do. Better to visit in late Spring and early Summer. Our favorite time. Sounds like you guys had a wonderful time. Hope you guys had a wonderful Holiday Season ! How is Aurelia doing ? Looking forward to seeing you guys in 2025. Sending you lots of love❤❤ Harriet, Jim and Yuki Richmond, VA.
You got to see Wayne Gretzky play - that's awesome! He's definitely a legend around these parts. Sam has taken me to a few hockey games over the years and he's always pointing out the new up-and-coming players. Meanwhile, I can barely follow the puck on the ice! 🏒😅 Baby Aurelia is doing well. We're taking her on little outings around town - she loves the car seat, so I hope that bodes well for travel!
So the Oil Kings are our WHL team and they are a junior team and on their way up to the NHL. You need to make your way back during hockey to check both them and the oilers out
There used to be streetcars from Melbourne in Seattle for the Waterfront Streetcar until it was closed, and I believe Memphis uses old Melbourne trams/streetcars also, and possibly a few other cities.
My wife and I moved from Saint John, NB to Edmonton last year to be closer to family as we welcomed our baby into the world. Edmonton is truly an underrated city (let's just not talk about the winter though)!
Congratulations on the arrival of your baby! It makes sense to be closer to family - we've certainly valued having family around during this time. I hope you've been enjoying the city so far! 😊
Hola Audrey Samuel Daniel y familia. Hermoso video de preguntas y respuestas me encanto, que se repita. Hasta el próximo video querida familia. Saludos desde Córdoba Edgardo 🍷.
We did film food reviews in both Edmonton and Calgary if you look a couple of videos back. 😊 We like to eat so we tend to film those wherever we travel!
Fyi: go in the summer, it doesn't look like this in the winter. And the police have an aggressive agenda of tearing down the homeless tent encampments, so at least you do dont have to be bothered by the sight of the unfortunate many with no money to vacation. 👍😁
Edmonton, Alberta got its name from John Peter Pruden, an early Hudson's Bay employee, and fur trader from England. He named Edmonton after Edmonton, in England, which is a north London suburb. He married a First Nations wife, and has many descendants in Alberta, and in Western Canada. There is another city called Edmonton, in Kentucky, USA. Edmonton became famous because a British rock band, Procol Harum, recorded a live album with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra in 1971, at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, and it was released in 1972. West Edmonton Mall, and the Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup wins in the 1980s, put Edmonton on the map further. I have been inside of the Muttart Conservatory, many years ago, and I have photographed it many times. I did not know that the High Level Streetcar came back. Whyte Avenue does have great places to eat. The ravines in Edmonton are great to see in the fall. I have been inside of Rogers Arena for concerts, including Santana, The Steve Miller Band with Peter Frampton, Michael Buble and others. Two other good musical venues you shoud go to when you come back to Edmonton are the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium and The Francis Winspear Centre. I've seen many great concerts, and other performances at both of those venues. The flight simulator and the aviation museum was pretty cool. I have two relatives that are in the Royal Canadian Air Force. They are brothers, and are my (late) cousin's sons. One of them is an astronaut. Thanks for sharing this. It was awesome! I wish you all the best in 2025. Cheers, Samuel and Audrey! 👍👍✌️🇨🇦
Thanks for sharing these interesting snippets of history, Dwayne! We learned a lot of new things about Edmonton. There's still so much left for us to see and Sam also has family there, so I'm sure we'll be back.
I love love love how positive your guys' energy is throughout this video. God bless you both!
Thank you! We were happy to be there - it was especially nice for Sam to revisit the city of his university days. 😊

Fun tour of an interesting city. We need up to date pictures of the cute new baby though.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Yes, we plan to film a little update video, so I'm sure little Aurelia will make an appearance.
Excellent guys 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
Thanks for watching!

Winters can be tough! Sam told me about some -50°C days, though that's considered extreme weather. 🥶

Awesome video.
I would love to go to the first museum. And the pyramid gardens. I think Canada does exceptional with the design of their public spaces.
Both are very fun attractions! I didn't know much about the city before visiting, but I was thoroughly impressed by what it has to offer.
Edmonton is a truly underrated city! I did some research and it’s actually ranked top 100 best cities in the world!
Cool
Note: the ship inside the WEM is not a pirate ship is La Santa Maria Caravelle
TORONTO babayy here🇨🇦💪
Thanks for the info. Is the video i need it 🙂
I hope it helps you plan your trip!

Oh, that's interesting to hear! I wonder how those old Australian streetcars ended up all over these North American cities.
Very cool!
Thanks for watching!
You make me miss summer
Great video of Edmonton, how was the city for homelessness? I always hear how bad downtown and LRT is but it looked pleasant from your footage 😊
Hmm i was born in Edmonton and lived there off and on growing up... some things on here i haven't done yet lol

I really liked the spaghetti restaurant at WEM 🍽
Good to know! We haven't tried that one yet, but maybe next time.

When are you all going back to Lima?
We usually visit around March/April, but we still need to book that trip.

When was this filmed? It's pretty cold south of you. Where's your daughter?
We filmed this towards the end of summer. Baby girl was still in belly!
