In my opinion, any man that is Logical, observant and analytical, all the rest of these traits will follow. Any man with that foundation, the rest of these traits are more an effect.
I have always been observant and Logical. I value truth and reason. The rest of these traits naturally springboard off those traits. My point being, So called Sigma males don't share 10, 20, however many traits. We only share a few, and the rest just naturally follow.
While we are not as common as i would like, we aren't as special, either.

I never had a label for it. I have a lady friend that said I was an enigma. I looked it up because I wasn't positive how about the definition. That led me to personality traits. That was when I found sigma male. I will say the flaw in all of this is my constant analyzing of everything around me. I don't feel required to understand every aspect of everything. But I love the deepest understanding possible. I'm 64. Social circles, networking, people's overly sensitive nature, also grudges and 1 upmanship, all make me laugh at the fools taking part.

As a Sigma in my 50's I 100% agree, BUT I'm a broken Sigma, and that is a whole different matter. A broken Sigma that suffers with disability is like a caged bird that can no longer fly, which causes some serious issues within the personality that I've never heard mentioned. It causes a lot of turmoil mentally.

Even when it seems impossible, we find a way...thats just who we are

    • @NestofWeasels
      @NestofWeasels 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

I have to agree with @americanmade7262…. I have life-long psoriatic arthritis which caused considerable joint pain since I was a teenager. The youthful disintegration of my lower back became career limiting. The pain was usually debilitating but that led to a life-long policy of ‘mind over matter’. Just shrug off external stimuli. Six years ago I passed out and had a bad fall that broke every bone in my face - - twice. During a process of mostly unsuccessful operations, I suffered a thyroid storm as a precursor to Graves’ disease. Thyroid eye disease followed. I decided not to have my thyroid irradiated and took a potentially liver-crushing drug to manage the thyroid over-activity that had me on the verge of congestive heart failure. Luckily I was in good shape. Now, my medication is down to a very low dose as I’m virtually in remission. Then my maxillo-facial surgeon came down with cancer and needed to take a few months off to have it treated. I jumped in and got a CAT scan and biopsy to get a handle on my worsening PSA levels. The result of that was not particularly favorable intermediate prostate cancer - - but apparently no metastasis by then. Then, early last year, I wangled targeted Proton radiation therapy with six months of androgen deprivation therapy. There were some medical considerations with the deprivation therapy that made that complicated. But one thing I didn’t know when I went into it was that there was a 25% chance that my testosterone levels would _never_ come back. Relieved to say that my levels did return to my normal 600-750 ng/dL’s. Then, by last summer, I was back on the maxillo-facial surgery band wagon with a ten hour surgery that resulted in an inverted-L osteotomy on my right ramus and a full custom joint replacement on my left mandible. I thought I was done by early 2024. But…, an upper incisor that was shattered in the fall and put back in by the trauma surgeon, showed signs of infection and had to be root-canaled shortly after the original trauma. In February it was showing signs of internal resorption and a big chunk of it fell off a week later. So I got a bone-graft in the jaw and an implant for a crown.
After nearly 40 hours of surgery over six years, I can now chew food and talk to girls with the best of them. My surgeon suggested I stay out of bar fights and install a bar in my shower. I thought the shower bar was a good idea but a bottle of Bourbon fell off the shelf and cut my foot when it broke. So, the bar is out of the shower, now. (…Keep your perspective, @dethvyper3136 - - hang on to a sense of humor.)
While my medical train wreck was not a picnic, it actually paled (…if you can believe that) to the fact that I fell in love with a 27-year old girl just a few months before I fell. She is a magnificent girl and I’ll love her until the day I die but the last thing I would do to someone I loved was to risk ruining their life or to even wasting their time on earth. You see, I was 38-years older than her. I made no sense in her life. My preference was that she would never know that I existed. But shortly after I woke up one morning and realized that I had fallen in love with her, I had a premonition that someday our paths would cross and then I would have to tell her the truth. My dreams may never come true, but my premonitions _always_ come true. This girl could have any boy she wanted but then she probably prefers women. In the meantime, I’ll just try to make sure that I never become the boy that she would be ashamed of being devoted to her to the end of his days.
Life is hard. It is full of pain and emptiness and then we die. I’ve always believed that we get the lives we deserve. Our duty is to just live that life. Just a couple of days ago a magnificent 20-something girl pulled up behind me in a MERCEDES when I was pulling my trash container down to the curb. I just had running shorts on my magnificent body because I had just come back from a 7 kilometer run. I do _that_, lift weights, and do leg-lifts _every_ day. She wanted to know what music I was listening to on my headphones. …What a pick-up line, huh???
I’m 70, now and I’m still kick’n ass and take’n names. I’m sleeping with a French girl that’s a fitness instructor. I practice my singing when I run and I’m drilling on the guitar every day with the aim of getting back on a stage. …A Sigma to the last. ‘@dethvypr’ - - At 50-something, you are just a ‘kid’ compared to me. You should be running circles around _me_ and beating me to all the best 20-something’s. Just pick yourself up and live that life of yours. Do some push-ups and sit-ups and then go run 7 kilometers. If you can’t run seven, walk _one_ until you can _run_ seven. Every journey begins with a step. Sigmas never say ‘die’ (…unless they mean somebody else should die).

Also, I would like to point out, that although we indeed use to have this dark/"evil"? side, which can appear scary and intimidating to others, this DOES NOT mean, that we act on it. As the video explains, for most of us it's basically all about self protection strategies, although there are these evil sigmas of course... (as Putin for example...)

I believe the reason I am a sigma( I have been told by my friends repeatedly) is because of my father leaving when I was young. I had to figure out my process in life. The only thing I learned from that experience is self-reliance and Independence it has been invaluable.
People get absolutely angry with me because of how I operate within the confines of society. I am not conventional, I do not go along with the status quo, I make my own way, my own rules(boundries), and I do not impose my will upon others and stay in the parameters of legal and polite Society, doing my best to help ever, and hurt never.
Because of my stoic and analytical nature, (minding my own business) just being quiet has got me in more trouble then you could possibly imagine.
Situational awareness is absolutely essential as a sigma.

There have been times i demonstrated that I was right by embarrassing my opponent ruthlessly. This didn’t end well because he was also usually my boss…

My darker side came out in a bar last night, with a man who took great liberties in invading my space.
This is the second time someone has pushed me too far in only 3 months, which is very unusual.
In each case, I pushed the man to the ground (different guys) and stood over him shouting a clear warning to make sure there was no doubt that he was in danger if he didn't stay away from me. It may have seemed extreme, it was certainly very intense, but never in my life have I ever actually punched anyone or caused them physical harm. Thankfully, it's never been necessary.
In each of these cases, the men reacted the same. They even had the very same, startled look on their face as they stayed on the ground looking bemused.
I'm usually really chilled and most people who know me have difficulty believing that this side of me exists. When my control is gone, it is very sudden and extreme. That said, it is only ever a warning, albeit a very clear warning. It's not that I've completely lost control, more that I've jumped into another mode. One that's more appropriate for the situation.

It is a martial art form where you don't have to punch or block. Not sure about others, but mine seemed to come full force after voices in my head led me to a car accident between Peggs and Locust Grove Oklahoma. Not sure if it was just an NDE or an actual death, but I was definitely supposed to do it; almost like I couldn't avoid it. I was airlifted to Tulsa Medical Center. It felt like a rebirth. The day I was born in 1976, I was also airlifted, only it was to Amarillo Texas. There are a lot of synchronicities when comparing my birth and rebirth. And after the wreck, doppelgangers were everywhere for roughly two days. Every cop, firefighter, medical worker, and paramedic all looked like someone who was close to me throughout my life. That day in October of 2008 was a rebirth and it was also like hitting a high degree......a capstone or high angle in my life. I now have a vegan diet. That may have been the smartest decision I could have made. It has been 16 years now since that wreck in my KIA. I feel like a 16 year old...😂

The Hidden Dark side as said from 7:50 to 8:10 of true Sigmas is pure Beast mode once turned on and is a force to be reckoned with.
I was once at a Police precinct being yelled at by a top officer pig but I remained calm and quiet. I could feel the beast inside me growing steadily and then all of a sudden I screamed so loud back at that pig to not ever raise his voice like that to me that he was left completely speechless and quiet like a mouse. Other officers heard that scream from outside his office and popped in to see if everything was cool. I got up and left the office while that top pig remained quiet like a good lil Alpha....
That beast does exist within all Sigmas just waiting to come out!

beta, sigma and alphas are all social constructs. Anyone can become them. You dont need to be predisposed to that particular type of personality.
However. Sigmas are those who have had problems in their past that lead them to think that way. You can adopt the sigma or alpha mindset. but not everyone manages that position and most will end up becoming betas because betas dont have courage or traits that allow them to break the threshold.
being "cold" happens because you grow up realizing people can read your face and reactions and will use them against you in a situation. My best example is cops and legal workers. They specifically operate in reading people and using to gain an advantage of the person they're interviewing and getting them to fall into their game to get a confession/conviction. Your best option when dealing with cops is to play it cool and talk smooth. Cops biggest skillset aside from marksmanship, athleticism, and race-car driving is spotting deception and creating deception in order to gain RAS to charge someone with a crime and they do that with talking and your cognitive facial expressions.
Knowing where the exits are is a result of dealing with confrontation and drama or when one feels their life is in danger. They must figure out how to dodge danger and do so quickly if they feel like they cannot defend it physically to protect themselves.
the skillset of finding answers is almost the same as knowing where an exit or passages of egress is. We want to find the best option we can get that is safe, efficient, and practical that it often gives the illusion of speed and precision. Because that is how the world works. The best way to handle a situation no matter what is to be fast, swift and precise. No wasted movements.
Charming and manipulative is a business tactic. But also applies in just about every social situation. Sometimes being deceptive is very beneficial if you're in a job interview and you know the answer you initially have is wrong and wont make you look good to the boss asking you the question so you answer with a response that YOU KNOW they will like.
Same with sales. You know the price is high. But if the customer doesnt seem to think so or is not convinced. You sell them on the dream or compromise to a price they will like that still nets you a gain.
Hidden leadership and working in the shadows is the sign of a professional. Its not because we desire power. We desire to be successful and implement tactics and policies that guarantee success and prosperity. Getting results that we favor.
Having a dark side is nonsense. But at the same time. Some folks realize how messed up the world really is and truly understand evil and wickedness at it's core. That we often view certain people as less than human and shouldnt be respected. Not only that, we realize they are weak when compared to somebody who knows how to commit violence but do so that they can maintain legal standing and still gain the moral high-ground because while killing a man is not appropriate. But killing a child molester is and nobody would question that belief because nobody sane or normal can respect a man who feels the need to hurt children. Not backing down is the result of having to tolerate disrespect but not allow further toxic behaviour to continue and must be corrected or disciplined because if evil behaviour goes unchecked. It will just get worse. Violence has a cost. Allowing violence against their will results in hospital bills, further violence, loss of property, life, or respect. And it is extremely distressing. Why would any sane person put up with that? Responding to the violence results in ceasing the toxic and distressing behaviour and any further disrespect will be quelled and countered. That is why some sigma will act this way.

That’s not a ridiculous theory. I was starting to wonder who was putting out all these SIGMA male videos - - all slick and repetitive down to the content. But the military would primarily want Alphas and Betas - - not Sigmas. The military would fall apart if there were nothing but Sigmas. Sigmas would be good for special forces - - at best. But you don’t need so many special force swing’n dicks. If you have too many, they go haywire and start fighting for themselves. That would be a disaster for the military. The military wants to maintain control. They don’t want people that are playing for their own team. Remember: Sigmas, “…don’t play well with others.”

I wouldn’t discount the possibility of _anyone_ being suicidal. I think Sigma males are more likely to “give-up” than actively seek to end their existence, though. I personally do not “believe” in suicide as a solution. One might get into a situation where the ‘solution’ gets you killed as a by-product but that in and of itself does not constitute ‘suicide’.
I try to be open minded so I would try not to be harsh in my judgement of someone that decides to commit suicide even though I think it is a mistake, myself. But my philosophy is that ‘we get the lives that we deserve’. By that, I don’t mean that there is a supreme force that is meting out punishments but that we should ‘play the hands’ we are ‘dealt’. We can’t control every detail of our lives and we shouldn’t expect to - - sh*t happens. …Deal with it.
Life has beaten _me_ half to death a number of times and in a number of ways. But I keep on ticking and I will do so until the universe finally snuffs me out. What else makes sense??? Sigmas do not strike me as ‘quiters’. I can remember thinking to myself over and over my, whole life, that I’m not a ‘quiter’.
In the last six years, I have had a number of medical crises that almost killed me. There was at least one time when I was particularly miserable and wanted it to ‘end’ whereby I realized that it would be easy just to “give-up” - - to stop trying to stay alive. Do you know what made me pick myself up off the floor??? …A girl. A girl that was the object of a premonition years before. The premonition said that, one day - - I wouldn’t know when and I wouldn’t know where, this girl’s path and my path would cross. …And then I would have to tell her the truth. Never mind what the ‘truth’ is, I just realized I needed to keep putting one foot in front of the other. I needed to be ‘there’ when that girl finally showed up. Who knows??? Maybe she will _never_ show up but my duty is to lead the life I have - - to continue to play the cards that I’ve been dealt.
