We have two as well, both females, 5 and 7 years. When we brought Kona the youngest home, Lucy mothered her and still does today! Great dogs! Best dogs we’ve ever had!
@@VBallAngel Surprisingly well! We hadn’t heard about two females together until after we had them awhile. The older female still mothers the younger one who is very subservient to her. The only trouble has been the very occasional battle over a morsel of food. Lol! We feed them in different rooms. Other than that, they have been wonderful dogs and a real joy!
Thanks for replying!! That’s good to hear! We have a 3 year old female Aussie currently and Looking to add another Aussie to the family end of January or beginning of February so been doing research. 😊
Yes heavenly - we have had six aussies since1995 - currently have a female 4 yrs and a male 2 .5 - even tho we knew so much it is still a learning curve and now we are in our60s I have to admit that these will be our last -- these babies require a lot - attention, exercise and grooming - can’t emphasize this enough -
those puppies are so beautiful and made me laugh..all stepping on each other to get to you...hehe what is the name of the breeder I'm in search of a puppy. This is Washington? I am in California
How's it going now with the two and with training? We just brought a new one home 2 weeks ago and are still trying to get acclimated and such. Nice video btw.
@@vakkerlidelse5476 nothing unethical. It keeps them from getting injured by the cattle they herd. A tail injury on an adult dog is a very painful injury for them.

How are they together? I heard that two females together isn't great, but didn't quite buy that haha

The two love one another and play together all day. We have gone to a few trainings with the older Aussie, she is doing well.
Where are their tails?
They are cropped after they are born. It’s a standard practice with Australian Shepherds.
@@Lt.Hikes0329well, it’s cruel and unnecessary and should stop.
@@grahamcook9289 is circumcision ok?
@@hazelsam13 What sort of dumb fuck question is that, retard!
@@grahamcook9289 Agree. Tail docking serves no practical purpose. It's illegal to dock a dog's tail in Australia.
I wish they had tails
some do have tails but most breeders who keep the tails aren’t ethical ones

@@Cmunic8 yep i know, but people get stuck in the “but the tails are cute and cutting them off is mean :(“ and it’s stupid
