Lovely mountain, and good chance of decent views from the top. Was up in April once when there was snow but it was sunny and felt quite warm to, magnificent.
Hi there, Just to let you know that the thing you call a monument is actually called correctly a trig point, you should be able to see at least another two trig points from each trig point you go to. This is to work out the heights of mountains. As for the paths, every 14th of December the locals all come together to climb the mountain and each person brings a stone to rebuild the path. Hope this helps.
Nice hike vlog Cadair Idris a firm favourite mountain of mine nice you got some nice weather before the clag came down subbed looking forward to more 👍
Some spectacular views from the top; you were lucky with the weather. Pot Noodle 🍜 one of my favourites. I know what you mean about adding extra time for taking photos. Great video and narration. ATB Mark. 👍
How are the drop offs? Weirdly I'm terrified of heights, but it's more steep drops and inpending death (I can trip over air). But addicted to mountain hiking, and done corn du, pen y fan and sca fell pike
Just subscribed.
I am heading there this weekend. for your detailed video of the walk around
Nice one enjoy, watch out for the jets.
What a fabulous watch 🤩 🙏
I love Cadir Idris.🥰
Snowdon is far too busy nowadays!
The views from Cadir are astounding.🥰
The best vid I’ve seen on this walk. Looks possible even for people who haven’t got a great head for heights!👍
Planning on doing this one in September (2023). Thanks for the video 👍. Really can't wait as I've never been up Cadair.
