My dog is just like this, I have to brush her every other day to prevent the coat getting knots

When you pull the mat out from between the toes why do you clipper down the dogs foot ? Why wouldn’t you start at the tip of the toes and go up the ft/leg that way the mat can’t be pushed down back in between the toes, or does it just look like that watching the video

It’s difficult to see on this video but I am coming in at a very slight angle, not as much as usual because he doesn’t like his toes fussed with that much. Ordinarily I would clipper at an angle on both sides of the toe to work the matt out. I try to avoid clipping straight up especially on the smaller dogs because the skin that connects between the toes is so thin and delicate so can be easy to nick, especially with the fidgety dogs! 😊🐾

Some dogs just don’t settle down I guess he was shaking the whole time, you would think after a little bit after you haven’t killed or tortured him he would figure it out?
