No push buttons, sound proof cab with AC/heat, or hydraulics. Tough operators. Tough men.

@@mattberg6785 If they had a blow fan and shutters you could open the shutters and close the back door and have a nice breeze through the seat area. And close or partially close the shutters and you'd be comfortable in the seat if it wasn't dribbling too bad and you had a little glass or plexiglass left for a window or 2. Or carry a trash bag to stop up the pneumonia holes with..

    Hello Skadill
    Holy crap!!!
    97.9¢/L here in MB.
IH used them in their "TD" crawlers & the straight gas in their "T" crawlers. Same setup in their farm tractors of that vintage. As a young kid, I remember my Dad having a model "MD" farm tractor that started on gas & ran on diesel.

Hey love the videos! That is really typical for an international tractor of that vintage a lot of MDs had them still a lot of them behind barns here in wisconsin

Good GRIEF! I ran one just like this and I thought the engine was a swap over but obviously it isn't. The 1st one was the 1st crane I ever sat in and it was in RVN, feeding an asphalt plant (Army) with a clam bucket. It had a Cummins. Then one with a 4-71 with a drag bucket and one like that. Also ran a 30-B with a drop ball some. Liked the 22 better. That is nice machine but I'd be looking for a 4-71 to go in it. THANKS, Pal! A-PLUS!

I don’t know if you looked at the tag, but Greyback still had an inspection on this and were using it in 04. Which I guess is a few years ago now, but I always found neat when I moved this thing around it’s current home.

Seen a number of them work, mostly with a backhoe attachment. The operators hands and feet were always moving twice as fast then the machine was moving. Some were built back east in Canada and you can recognize them by the maple leaf on the side of the house.

That's gas over diesel. Starts on gas and you switch it when it warms up. Six cylinder, that's a big one. D-1091 from a TD-24? UD -16 or UD-18?

Gas?? Diesel?? Oh, wait!!! International!! I don't know how big a crawler international put the gas start engines in, but I would think a TD9 motor would be more than enough power ... Nice old girl! Thank you Skadill!!!!
