I don't comment a lot on videos.. but I really, really like the new format on how the video is cut and what it shows. The timing, everything. You guys are awesome and I bet it will show. Thanks Hanks.
Nobody could possibly impersonate the “Hanks” like you two! Totally live vicariously through your videos. Keep up the Giggles and Grins, along with your adventures.
Welcome to my neck of the woods! Before I moved to Canada (new wife, new life), I was from Rockland (next town from Rockport, I was actually a police officer in Rockland for a while)! I loved watching you going down the road, recognizing the scenery as you went. Early in our RV days (started in 2018, full time for 4 years now) we stayed at the Sea Swell Megunticook, and really enjoyed our stay.
That's awesome guys! We liked this park. We went to Maine and this was one of our nights. I don't think we did a reservation we just stopped in and they had plenty of sites. We went well into the fall and really enjoyed our one night stop over here.
It's fun to watch you travel through areas that I know. At 5:00 I recognized Haigis Parkway. You took the Scarborough exit from the Turnpike, you went straight at the light, and you came out on Route 1 at the Irving station I gas up at _all the time._ I have the same opinion of the Maine Turnpike tollbooths; they're too close for comfort when towing a travel trailer.
The Maine Event ! Thanks for taking us along~ we loved our time in Maine this year & our favorite camp was Big Lake in Princeton. Hope to see y'all on the road. Wanda & Vinnie (Piper & Jackson )
Maine is such a nice place to camp. We also love travelling in September and October with our trailer. With school started back up and summer vacations over, things are just a little quieter, and we love being able to travel without a bunch of reservations, but through July and August in our part of the world that is so much more of a challenge. Continued safe travels.....
We just left Maine this past Friday. Had a great time with my youngest daughters wedding in Acadia National Park. Weather was perfect as you know. Then a week of boondocking on out property near Moosehead Lake. Couldn't have been more perfect. I love Maine but it's too cold in the winter for us now. Back in Texas! Love your channel!
I spent many a time in Bath, ME and found the Mainers ( Main-AHz) very polite and helpful. But after you spend a Winter there, and don’t gripe about it the you’ve got friends for life. They respect the land, the sea, as well as hard work & play. I got a milestone bday coming up this Spring and SERIOUSLY thinking about a couple of weeks up there.
Good evening, Hanks!!!! We just started watching your videos about 6 months ago & we just bought our very first travel trailer a few weeks ago. Now get this....wait for it.......waaaaaait for it.................we 'let 'er rip' for the first time ever this past weekend. We still have a lot to learn, but we're very grateful for your channel and tips! Thanks Hanks!! Cheers!
I can’t believe how many fans yall run into!! It’s because everyone loves yall!! It sure is beautiful up there. Never been to Maine before. Wish we could travel like y’all do!! Happy Camping and Safe Travels!! Dexter is being such a good boy!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️😺😺
Love this guys! Mainer here. We stayed at Sea Swell last fall, about 5 sites down from yours. Great campground. I hope you got down to the viewing area for sunrise and to watch the lobster boats go by. We met so many nice folks there. You were pretty early for the color changes. We're at peak now. FYI stay to the right and use the truck lanes for the Fast Pass tolls. Really like the new format!
Megunticook campgrounds is one of my favorite places, I already have a reservation for next year. That whole area is amazing! You guys a killing it in Maine.
You drove past the Taste of Maine restaurant. If you like seafood, that's a great place to eat. I liked it so much, I got a t-shirt. And ironically, I'm wearing it right now.
@@HappilyEverHanks one day i hope to see yall on the road, but anyway for your travel adventures, look up the colonies rv park in fort monroe hampton virginia, its on the waterfront(chesapeak bay) overlooking norfolk navel base if you want to sit on beach and watch air craft carriers and submarines go by lol, buckroe beach right up the road and yes VIRGINIA BEACH also close by
Still loving your new style!! You guys are the only TH-camrs that I have ever subscribed to. I thoroughly enjoy being entertained by all 3 of you! It is a wonderful gift to make people smile and laugh ❤️. Thank you for the joy you bring. Hopefully someday we get to meet ya’ll in person. Safe travels and keep the fun coming 😊
Love your videos! 😊 Hubby and I just returned from a trip to New Hampshire. We also use Open Roads but we do pay a Program Fee of 10% for every transaction which is still worth it to us.
This video was so much fun to watch! We were in Maine in July and we just loved it! Such a pretty state and such wonderful people! We can’t wait to go back!!
Smiled really about your communication issue. We have lots of devices on hand: Mobile, Watch even Radios but every time my wife is getting out she leaves all in the truck.
I was lucky enough to get to spend some time in Main for work about 15 years ago. As part of my job I had to spend time between Down East and Portland. Man that drive is pretty when the leaves are in peak color.
I'm at Pumpkin Patch RV park near Bangor Maine....Fantastic place and with Passport American only $135 for 4 nights....Bar Harbor was PACKED! Way too many tourist's. But the best Lobster Rolls I've ever had were at the Traveling Lobster about 10 miles from Bar Harbor...GREAT!!!
Small world, we were at Pumpkin Patch last week. Now we are in Bar Harbor Campground. You are correct about Bar Harbor being packed. So was the visitors center in Arcadia NP. Parking lot was FULL.
Having grown up in Maine, I am so happy to see you visit and experience all that the state has to offer! Please tell me you are going to visit Portland on the way back. It is such a wonderful city with lots of great food and fun. One thing you need to do is take a day trip down to Peaks Island and experience Portland Harbor and the Island life!
Thanks for another great video. One suggestion for something that helps a lot is pick up a pack of a two way radios, this makes it easier to communicate when someone is backing up and the other person is outside. I have a 20ft trailer so it is easier to see as I am backing up, but my wife still gets out to help and it has saved us at least once. I use MURS radios, but a cheap pack of FRS radios works just fine and you don't need a license to use them.
I love the video. People say everything is tighter in New England. I love seeing you meeting people. Can't wait to see what this town holds for you two. With my wife just having cancer surgery fuve weeks ago and getting set for radiation treatments we really hadn't planned on traveling at all this fall, but Monday morning Sarasota County, in Florida, called us and said evacuate for Milton. We did the worlds fastest load job and got on the road at 1:40 pm. Traffic was so bad that we had dinner at midnight. We stayed the night in the Villages at Wildwood. Normally this is only a 3 1/2.hour ride up the road. We are currently in Ashford Alabama. We didn't even get a drop of rain or even a light gust of wind from Milton here. Friends say our house is fine. Florida Power and Light says it will be Thursday before we get our electricity back. It feels so good being out in the RV again. 😊😊😊
We planned on full-time RVing last year, but “life happened” and we’ve had to put off that dream until at the earliest next summer. Your videos make me wish we were already on the road. Keep up the great work!!
I've never driven to Alaska or Maine, but I did take my travel trailer the full length of Baja last spring. I think I finally got the last of the damage from that trip repaired. As for Starlink vs. trees, I bring my regular mount along for that reason. Mine is mounted on a telescoping pole attached to the ladder, but it still has the full 75 ft cable available. If I'm under trees, I can put the dish on the regular mount and usually find someplace where it will work.
Thank you for mentioning the text toll scam. I got one of those texts and tried to think if we'd been on any roads where we might have missed a toll! Didn't click on the link, and assumed it was a scam, but it would be very easy to fall for it, especially as people who travel on the road often.
Great that you seen some followers. Good video I have to say my momentum has cooper tires which have been great. The reflection I had before had Westlakes. Which a lot of people had issues with but I had them for 6 years and not one issue. I think some times people aren't great about checking there pressures and also hit curbs and things that may cause some of there issues.
That breakfast bowl with cottage looked awesome! Definitely going to do that. Donut hangovers eh? LOL!!! Not much foliage up north the first week of September. I don't know where you are currently camping, but we're still in Ossipee until the 14th when Terrace Pines closes for the season and it's some of the BEST foliage we've seen in ages this year so I hope you're seeing the colors where you are currently. Also tonight there were great views of the northern lights, which I hope you also saw. Loving the traveling videos and also that you continue to offer insights for us all. Excellent video once again! You two, and Dexter, are awesome.
Welcome to New England. You guys are real people. Love the way you show and describe what you are doing. Great to see the "real" people you are. The format is excellent. Fun and entertaining. When and where are you coming to our great State of Vermont? Have a super weekend
We live in NH and inconsiderate driving has gotten so much worse lately. We deal with the same thing, getting cut off when towing our travel trailer. When Renee mentioned checking out Irving, my husband laughed and said, "It's not Buc-ees!" 😂 Glad to see you enjoyed Maine!!!!!
NH here, too. I agree. Inconsiderate driving is definitely on the rise. Red lights and stop signs are ignored by so many drivers. It's downright scary and I wonder why??? If I'm at the front of the line at a red light, I don't move before looking both ways first to be sure people have stopped.
Talking about the tires, our Chinese tires only lasted about 1000 miles before one let go. As of right now, our camper is in the shop with $4500 in damage. Just keep an eye on yours. ❤ seeing yall online.
We had a blast this summer staying at Sea Swell Megunticook. We stayed in our class b and my parents stayed in their little yellow cottage at the entrance. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. This must have been the year of Maine. I have seen so many videos and friends traveling to Maine this year. We took windjammer cruise our Camden. Cute little town. Thank you for sharing!! Hope we see you on the road. Safe travels.
I agree about the editing! We love y’all’s content! Always have; but your editing is getting amazing! We were wondering what video editor you use? Thanks Hanks for entertainment!!
Aww thank you so much!! It's only us that does everything for the channel. We do all the editing on the videos 😊 We appreciate all your love and support!!
The surprise of a pull thru is always good! We have been traveling in Oregon & The Olympic Peninsula and have been under so many trees. Fall in New England is amazing!!
Great episode tonight. We are so bummed we didn’t run into you. We were at that same campground (Sea Swell) on 9/12. Watching tonight and seeing that we missed you by days was disappointing. I hope you loved the campground as much as we did. We love that you guys are exploring in our neck of the woods. It is great to watch no matter where you’re traveling, but to have you in such familiar places is just so cool. Happy Travels and hopefully soon our paths will cross. J&L 😊
Nice video. I joined Open Roads over a year ago through you guys after watching one of your videos. I use it even if I'm not on the road pulling my 5th wheel. In Oklahoma we use Loves. I have had problems getting my card to work at TA and hate going in and standing in line at the register but sometimes you just have to do it. Probably one of the best apps for RVing. 99% of the time you can save big money.
I truly love the way you genuinely are happy to meet your viewers. If you’re ever up in Ontario Canada the family and I would travel to say hello!! Love the videos. Thanks for sharing.
We really appreciate all the info in the last few videos. I have been writing down the names of the RV Parks you have been staying in. We’ll be visiting the East Coast in a couple of years. Really hope our paths cross sone day.
If tires have held up, theve held up. Ive posts where premiun brands have blown. Please dont wait till you think you will NEED tires to replace them. Tires wear exponentially faster as time goes on. I would suggest getting the best load bearing premium when you do get new. Constant prayers for safe travels.
After watching the last episode I went to order those donuts. $50 for 6 with shipping. 😂 I can't imagine that they were THAT good. Guess I'll get some if we go to Maine. ❤❤ - western NY Aimee
Omg...I stayed at Echo Basin. I was supposed to stay at Mancos State Park but couldn't when I realized the sites did not have water or electricity. The people were lovely there.
I really love watching your videos. Renee is from PA and Kyle from California. where did you guys meet? You’re both enjoying this fantastic journey together. So much fun to watch you on your travels. Keep the videos coming.
Enjoiyed the video guys! Always get plenty of smiles for the miles from you. The catch on the gas app is that they're selling your personal info. Nothing is free.
We’re really enjoying watching a video recap of our recent trip through this Maine 😃😃😃 We were actually in Arundel the same time (though around the corner at Red Apple Campground and we were at Sea Swell Megunticook at the same time as you. Saw many of the same places. Sorry we missed you!
I don't comment a lot on videos.. but I really, really like the new format on how the video is cut and what it shows. The timing, everything. You guys are awesome and I bet it will show. Thanks Hanks.
Thank you so much! We're enjoying taking you guys (the camera) with us all around
been following these two for a few months now: they are the genuine article and bonus...I've learned a lot
I'm looking at the my open roads but considered about giving ssn

I don’t know about that, I could do a pretty good Karl!
These last few videos is what the Hanks is all about. Sharing the adventure journeys. Thanks Hanks for the Maine attentions LOL I could not resist
Your new videos are really working well. Great format...
Hey, thanks!
I love the way you to interact with each other! And you can tell this is totally natural! ❤❤❤

How fun to run into a fan. Be safe and watch the weather heading south. Be well, Old Chief, Texas
Regarding the donuts, I celebrated the big 50 in Branson MO. I went to Hurts donuts. They had the Jesus donut and Jesus latte. Yup! Only in Branson.
That sounds awesome!
We enjoyed the lighthouse museum in Rockport while there this summer
So glad you got to visit, Mark! We appreciate all your wonderful support 😊
As for the narrow toll plaza’s, the last toll lane on the right is usually for wide vehicles, so i try to go to them for easier access.😅
Oooh yeah first again!! And before 5pm!!
Thanks for watching! Hope you're having a great night 😊
Saw your footage going up Route 1. One portion looked like Wiscasset. That was a childhood vacation spot. Love that area.
Such a beautiful area! Thank you for your continued support 😊
Great stuff Hanks 👍 Don't forget to circle back to NH . Absolutely check out the white mountains 👌❤
I was wondering if you use a certain program for editing. I was trying to edit some videos and cannot figure out what to start with.

They are not wearing anymore since we got the alignment and vital parts replaced. So glad we took it to a GMC dealer
Maine looks great. Thanks for the Dexter Cameo.🐈
Hope you see some beautiful Fall foliage. Looking forward to a trip to Maine in 2026.
Thank you so much! We are so happy for you 😃
We were in the same area in August. Drove past that RV campground several times.
After watching the last episode I went to order those donuts. $50 for 6 with shipping. 😂 I can't imagine that they were THAT good. Guess I'll get some if we go to Maine. ❤❤ - western NY Aimee
Yeah, we had no idea shipping was that much!
I was texted toll in the San Francisco Bay area.....I live in SanDiego.....ya nooo
