She's actually in a secret room somewhere in the country reading a script. Getting the trains to pass the particular numbered platform at the right time to match her announcement takes a lot of skill and planning.
I wonder how many potential passengers would have assumed the freight train with its shipping containers was the new passenger rolling stock if it wern’t for the announcement telling them that it does not stop here.
As a freight driver I get a giggle approaching stations due to the amount of people who gather stuff up and walk towards the edge, despite the announcement, to get on board and grab a seat. The look on their face when they realise "oh that's what the announcement said". The volume of tannoy traffic has resulted in most people ignoring it as white noise.
Magnificent! I didn't see Deltics grow up as I lived near the West Coast Main Line in the 60s. Pretty boring here in Dorset now, we only have Disastros & Voyagers 🙄 I was lucky enough to work with slam door stock though, 33s, 47s, 73s, REPs & Pigs at Bournemouth depot from 1987 & 158s/159s and 170s later at Salisbury.
A really interesting compliation! Love the variety of engines, stock, and liveries you've captured 😁 Sadly my local station is such a necessary hub that I've never known any type of train or service to skip it, so no Woosh-oosh-oosh-oosh-oosH..! experiences for me at the platform edge 😅
our overnighter from Paris to Madrid had had its modern engine swapped out for a chuffing steamie by daybreak -- we figured the swap must've taken place at the border
Ive heard that announcement play once before, however, the time when i heard it, when the announcement started to play, the train had reached the start of the platform
I love this video! I occasionally see steam trains, freight trains, and sometimes very old trains, and a LNER, which is also very rare too see! Again, love the vid! ❤
cool looks a train from back in time the steam engines my favourite cool new trains too quite a compilation *😎always a full view💯Au🦘thumbs up👍enjoy the weekend🔆*
Quite a few of these are taken at Hadley Wood, on the route from Kings Cross. The announcements about standing clear on platforms 2 and 3 are a bit superfluous as the only trains that call use platforms 1 and 4 !!
I realised only now that the lines at Hadley Wood go Down slow - Down fast - Up fast - Up slow. OpenTrainTimes shows this arrangement at least as far as Huntingdon on the ECML. The older style (?) is DS-US-DF-UF.
stations up here in scotalnd used to only say "stand clear of platform edge fast train approaching" not sure if still the same but was a guessing game sometimes at some stations when i used train
1:11 - I was wondering when that green signal was going to turn red. Where I live, only the first couple of vehicles pass the signal before it changes.
Most of these trains 🚊 are excursions or rail tours. It’s probably the long distance train 🚊 service. Most of these trains 🚆 are goods trains 🚆. Most trains 🚊 are very fast 💨. Most main railway 🚃 stations 🚉 have trains 🚊 that don’t stop 🛑 at the station 🚉. 👍👍👍
That electric train at 3 minutes sounded like it identified as an internal combustion train. I now know if I ever want to catch a train to not wait on platform 3.
Be interested to know just exactly where the station is. Somewhere in England by the station annoucer's accent. Doesn't really look like a mainline station either.
the BI there have a major problem with their announcements; they've all gone NUTTILY rogue -- several times just these past few years, I've watched recordings that capture two announcements simultaneously blathered out onto PA speakers -- nigh that Corporateria's cleptoparasitic privateers be neutralized or - better yet - be flogged thereabouts 💡💡💡
that 47 is banking! Poor old deltic can't keep modern tracks clear behind, a locomotive ahead of its time - a long time ago. If you ignore the heritage, it isn't that impressive speed/power wise these days... like sad old grandad at a family disco trying to impress the young-uns... "I still got it..." err, no grandad, you look a bit pedestrian tbh
Blimey that train announcer gets around a fair bit doesn't she.
😂😅

@@trickygoose2
Sounds right 🤣🤣
@@trickygoose2she’s made it to Northern Ireland too
She must get a bonus for each time she says "see it, say it, sort it" too.
Works like a charm, every time she says it something interesting shows up! 😎
Thanks for watching 👍
I wonder how many potential passengers would have assumed the freight train with its shipping containers was the new passenger rolling stock if it wern’t for the announcement telling them that it does not stop here.
If you know any basic knowledge, you’ll know the same announcement is played for freight

that must be so funny 😂@@graememckay9972
where is the door!! why is it moving!!
In a few years time those HSTs are going to have the same charm as the diesel and steam trains.
I cant say how amazing this is!!! Its the bet train vid i have ever seen
Unusual format but great footage. Don't see fast straight through much these days. Great stuff. Many thanks.
Thanks a lot for watching

Me and my son see these freight all the time in our videos Always good to see. Thanks for the upload.
Thanks for watching, best regards
love how the transition at 9:08 makes it look like the 720 went from GA to LO in a matter of seconds.
Platform 3 seems to b a nationwide fav lol
Delightful content.
I liked it when she said
"Platform 3."

Hadley Wood station between two tunnels on the Kings Cross line I think.
Some of the shots are taken there, yes
That first deltic was being pushed hard by the 47
Most enjoyable. Thank you
Many thanks 😊
The sound of that train bloody hell that's brilliant
Bat out of Hell, Blowing up a Storm this is. Great!!
Awesome video!
Platform 3 may be the new 9 3/4
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!
Peterboroughs stand back from the platform announcement (mainly platform 3) is like over a minute before the train even passes through
The train now approaching platform 3 does not stop here, please stand clear of the platform as the approaching train does not stop here
......especially when Hadley Wood only uses platforms 1 and 4......
Woooaaw, ce VIDEO 🙂👍
Supeeerb 👍👍
Mulțumesc mult , toate cele bune 😊

The LNER InterCity 😍😍 OMG ❤️❤️
Cool!
5:15 that’s Celia Drummond who unfortunately she’s died
I just love the roar of desiel engines
They are great 👍
Some of the clips make me think: Hang on a minute, is she just standing behind the person recording with a megaphone?..
You are right 😁 in some places I was really close to the speakers 🔊
great
Unusually the steam train at 1 24 didn't have a diesel at the rear.
Excellent. There are no other words. ❤ also, I have subbed.
Really great video, I enjoyed it very much. Subbed and bell hit!
Awesome, thank you!😊
FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC video my good and dear friend, it really is fantastic 🤩🤩🤩🤩. Like 6 👍!!!!!!
Many 😊; have a great day

I hear that in some stations in England too
Amazing train catches!!
Thank you very much!
5:29 epic footage. Wow
Great video!! 👍👍
Thank you very much
At least 3 people appear to be inside the engine room of the Deltic. The ultimate thrash experience?
Ultimate premature loss of hearing experience!😂
Nice to see a Hull Trains actually going at speed.
Now now now!!!
If no trains stop at platform 3 why have 1, just have 1, 2 and 4😂😂.
Great done video :)
Thank you Simon

This train no longer stops at Chapel Station.
first video sounded like a jet at the end
Take a shot every time she says platform 3 😂
Yeah that’s ATOS Anne doing the announcement
She sounds cute!
@@paulcaswell2813I know she is

I thought they had to have a modern diesel dragging behind in the event of breakdown?
Great video! What camera do you use?
GoPro hero 10 and Sony FDR AX-53 ; thanks a lot for watching
Great british locos
The 55 and 47 wen loco were great and British

Could you find a new joke please? The "identifies as [silly thing]" hasn't been funny since 2007.
Why is my helicopter not at platform 3, I can hear it but not see it 🤔
West Ealing isn't far were I live

The station where they come out of a tunnel and then back into one is Hadley Wood on the ECML.
Thanks your answer! That’s correct and is one of my favourites, where I never get bored of watching trains
@@RailwayVideos. I normally see it in the early hours when working a train north, all sensible people are in bed then.
Amazed the 70 was indeed dangerous at all doesnt get much wafty at 60
Excellent footage! - can I share this please?
Yes, of course
Do many trains Stop here lol
Some of those announcements were a little late, one of them the train was halfway down the platform when the announcement started.
Trains were too fast 🤣🤣

Yes, it was , apparently the 55 was on one engine only so the 47 had to make some work
Why doesn't the hull trains 802 have a yellow nose??
The yellow nose is no longer required if it has twin headlamps that conform to the latest visibility standard.
Platform 3 I's popular
So they fixed her

What has platform 3 done to upset so many trains? 😂
