Pride Month!

This episode of "Our Time" engages us in reflecting and learning about diverse experiences in the LGBTQI+ community, including wisdom from earlier generations' affirming language. Psychologist Eugenia Rodríguez, Coordinator of LGBTQIA+ Studies and Latinx Family Studies at Pacific Oaks College; along with Psychotherapists and Faculty at Pacific Oaks College Mónica de la Cruz López Leal and Elizabeth González Morales discussed the value of creating a safe space in clinical training to support the community, move forward its healing, acknowledge intersectionality, and celebrate its diversity. Also, this conversation focused on the challenges faced, given the actions of members of the oppressing community, and what true allyship entails.
