Are you so f--king stupid not to know there are different options? RPGs have done that for decades. Even these videos are kind of some shallow entertainment and almost never practically relevant.
Quinto is inspired Kwinto (In polish we read Quinto and Kwinto same), main character from famous classic polish film, Vabank - Kwinto is a main character, and is also the best safebreaker.
Actually, there is even more hidden details to be found during the heist. When you are walking down into the vault with Ewald, if you take a good look around with your witcher-senses, you can find four different notes on different tables. -First note is a love letter from Olgierd to Iris von Everec - The second note is a receipt for a list of items that were restored before they were put up on the auction. The last item that was restored: "A painting by Van Rogh, the pseudonim associated with the work of lady Iris von Everec." So that painting that the painter-snob tells you about after you figure out the right painting, the one you can sell to the bookseller in Novigrad, is implied to actually be Iris' work! - Third note was a receipt for the installing of the vault doors, nothing too special imo. - Fourth note is a letter to Horst Borsodi from a fortuneteller that predicted that Geralt would come, and that his brother may murder him. " The constellation of the cards clearly indicated a wolf shall appear at your doorstep and you shall not let him enter, but he shall nevertheless find a way inside. He shall enter your house, then take your house from you. I saw a tower struck by lightning, and blood drinking blood. I believe you are extremely aware what that signifies, am I not right?" If you already covered the notes in a video of yours though Letalis, then my bad for missing it!
I'm pretty sure I mentioned the love letter and the fact that Iris is Van Rogh in other videos. That thing about the fortuneteller sounds like something I've never seen though :O

So there's one small detail during the heist that I missed on my first playthrough, which is that there is a love letter from Olgierd to Iris in which he states how much he loves her and how difficult things are for them and that he even would ask some devil to help him and her to be together forever. You can loot this in the very first room you enter right after you climb up the wall. And there is another letter in the basement of the auctionhouse mentioning the items that were sold during the auction stating that the painter vincent van rogh or whatever it's called in the eng version😅, is actually Iris. And a third letter adressing Horst Borsody telling him that a wolve would come, break into his vault and that there will be blood. So, yeah found that kinda cool 🙆♀️
I believe I mention that first letter somewhere... as for the Iris being the painter - I definitely mention that! I don't think i've seen the third though!

An Easter Egg that many people outside of Poland doesn't know... Quinto is a characer based on a other character from a polish comedy called 'Vabank' where older safecracker-master named Kwinto plots a revenge-heist against his old nemesis :) One of the most well known comedies in Poland.

Good video, as always. Currently playing through this part for the second time, I'm doing it all differently, just to see the differences in dialogue. Although I've seen it all just watching your videos.
Quinto is a name for fictional polish bank robber from the 30's who were portraited in very popular polish comedy Va Banque. I recommend you to watch it. There's PLENTY of polish pop culture Easter eggs in Witcher 3.
I just want to point out one thing in Novigrad. I've just been going through Zoltans quest with the Gwent cards, and if you check Zeds ledger, there's a mistake in it. In the ledger he says he sold the Isengrim card to Ravik, but thats not true, he sold the Natalis card to him instead. I know its nothing big and you may already know, but I just thought I mention it haha
*Geralt* : tell me a joke *Guard* : A little elfin runs up to its mother callin poo poo she says, 'it's over there love cut yourself a slice' Am i the only one that didn't get the guard's joke!?😅
I think it is a joke about elven language. "Kaka" means poop in multiple languages, such as russian and spanish. In nordic languages however it means "cake" or "cookie". So I think this must mean that elder speech is somehow related to modern Swedish maybe 🤔
Just went through this and there's a ton of red items in the auction house if you walk slowly. One letter from Olgierd in the attic and a bunch of red letters on the way down just use the Witcher senses and go slowly into the building. Also if you go back to the herbalist hut basement you can get 4 masks mostly Norther Kings.....
The conversation about the Borsodis happens right by the noticeboard. They talk about how no one came to their funeral and how Vivaldi took over the auction house.
The fact you can just glass the dwarf the second he's in earshot is hysterical. The fact he was going to take his life isn't funny, just the abrupt "Ah, there he is. *BOOM*"
I mean, whenever you win/buy his freedom and Hans goes to open the cage to let him out, Quinto opens it himself and mentions that he had picked the lock days ago and was just waiting for the right moment to walk out and leave xD
I'm probably too late here but I've just started my first play through of The Witcher 3 and I love your videos. The level of details in this game astound me Also, not sure if someone has noticed this before or if it's even significant but it appeared a nice touch to me. The top floor of the Auction house, in the attic, you can find a letter (among paintings and furniture which seem like stuff from the Von Everec estate) which Olgeird had written to Iris when her parents had called off their marriage- in which he pleads for them to elope together and then also writes something along the lines of 'I'll get it back. I'm sure of it'. (Presumably referring to his wish).
I'm currently playing my last playthrough of this game and I missed the viper School gear, I guess when I miss this game eventually I will get it that time.
Mhh good to know about that first thing with the soldier. I'm about to do the heist and did the quest with the soldier long time ago and of course I did find out about the contract.
I ran past the Notice Board in Oxenfurt and there are two ordinary men standing there talking about the Borsodi Brothers and the fate of the auction house.
Imma mention a small detail aswell which is pretty obvious but only if youre from Poland or somehow interested in Polish films. The name and proffesion of Quinto was inspired by character of Polish films "Vabanque" and "Vabanque II", Henryk Kwinto. In Polish language version Quinto and Kwinto are pronounced the same way. Henryk Kwinto was a famous safecracker, also got to the prison, and also robbed a bank hust after he got out. Same as Witchers Quinto. Just a simple note if someone is interested.

Cheers to you as well :) I'm going to make a similar video about Blood and Wine in the coming weeks :)
Please could you do a video of all the dialogue options in the negotiation sequence?
yes! I'm planning on doing it, there's so much there. Initially I thought I should include it here, but it's just too much!
@@xLetalis I've played six times and I still think I haven't seen all the dialogue in that bit
fear not :)
Good video, as always. Currently playing through this part for the second time, I'm doing it all differently, just to see the differences in dialogue. Although I've seen it all just watching your videos.
Even after 4 years of release this game has many details waiting to be revealed!
yep, I'm not done with it yet :)
“Stop it! Don’t make me hurt you!”
Me: And the greatest lie was told on that day...
Man, I'll have to memorise this whole series before i start my next playthrough.
hehe, you can bookmark them!
Thanks for a lovely video yet again!
So much information for my next play through after Witcher 2 ;)
Be good ~
I'd actually have liked to see how the quest went with Hugo but we never get a chance for that one. 😕 Awesome video as always.
Hugo strange??
thats another game , Arkham city i believe
Quinto is a name for fictional polish bank robber from the 30's who were portraited in very popular polish comedy Va Banque. I recommend you to watch it.
There's PLENTY of polish pop culture Easter eggs in Witcher 3.
I just want to point out one thing in Novigrad. I've just been going through Zoltans quest with the Gwent cards, and if you check Zeds ledger, there's a mistake in it. In the ledger he says he sold the Isengrim card to Ravik, but thats not true, he sold the Natalis card to him instead. I know its nothing big and you may already know, but I just thought I mention it haha
hah, I guess I never paid attention to that!
i am not even kidding, i gasped and waqved my arms when i saw this was up, so excited!
:D Hope it was worth it!
@@xLetalis don't worry a witcher video is always worth it!
WOOHOO!!!! Keep up the amazing work!
will try :)
*Geralt* : tell me a joke
*Guard* : A little elfin runs up to its mother callin poo poo she says, 'it's over there love cut yourself a slice'
Am i the only one that didn't get the guard's joke!?😅
I think the joke is that elves eat shit lol
@@herrkeks357 Well, in Polish version its the same joke but name of that guard who tells the joke is different (Janusz). 😉
I think it is a joke about elven language. "Kaka" means poop in multiple languages, such as russian and spanish. In nordic languages however it means "cake" or "cookie".
So I think this must mean that elder speech is somehow related to modern Swedish maybe 🤔
@@JuzefaWingedCat lmfaooo I like the joke better this way, it's so stupid XD
Just went through this and there's a ton of red items in the auction house if you walk slowly. One letter from Olgierd in the attic and a bunch of red letters on the way down just use the Witcher senses and go slowly into the building. Also if you go back to the herbalist hut basement you can get 4 masks mostly Norther Kings.....
Great video. Waiting for things missed in Blood and Wine .
Big fan of your vids keep up the good work!
Thank you :) I'll try
I have finished the game 6 times now but every time i see a video from you i want to play it again
Hehe, that's the point!
I cannot believe you can't take ANY of that gold.
I love when you upload!!! Keep up the good work 👏🏻
gonna try :)
Just about to do my second play through of this. Gonna go with the dwarf this time around.
yeah, better this way I think
The conversation about the Borsodis happens right by the noticeboard. They talk about how no one came to their funeral and how Vivaldi took over the auction house.
Interesting video, but you got me with Concealment kit.
The fact you can just glass the dwarf the second he's in earshot is hysterical. The fact he was going to take his life isn't funny, just the abrupt "Ah, there he is. *BOOM*"
2:11 - I bet Quinto wouldn't even have to pick the lock. Probably it was only his conscience that kept him in this cage:D
The level of details in this game astound me
Also, not sure if someone has noticed this before or if it's even significant but it appeared a nice touch to me.
Didn't I show that in 1 of the videos :)
I like your higher signs demonstration. Which quen was that? I assume you can’t attack with it up.
It's the alternate quen mode, and no - you can't attack :)
I just finished Hearts of Stone and was so sad I couldnt combine the glasses and ears, now I know that you can itll be the first place I'm heading
:D hah, glad I was of assstence
Random merc remembers a Witcher contract, but nobody noticed you killed Radovid
I really enjoy your videos!! ;)
I'm currently playing my last playthrough of this game and I missed the viper School gear, I guess when I miss this game eventually I will get it that time.
The day of the auction, in the ground floor of the house, there's a blabergé egg, which is a nod to a fabergé egg.
the amount of detail in the game is just astonishing
The hostage scene with Geralt is hilariously done 😂
I was able to enter the auction house after the quest, Yen’s unicorn is inside lol, can show some screenshots
Is not yens unicorn
Both of the Borsodis can die??!! I had no idea!..holly molly!! Thank u xLetalis!
indeed :) My pleasure, as always!
