In Meghalaya we call it Muri. This, mixed with boiled potatoes, peanuts, bhujia, onions, jeera and dhania powder, tamarind water and mustard oil and chillies, is a favourite snack among shillongites.

Sare types or Verities chawal se nhi Banta muri ke liye specific chawal hota he .. jada to nhi pata but chawal me thoda sa salt water milakr fry krte h bhot time Tak then popcorn ki tarha ye chawal se Banta he

There is no husk...! The cover of rice is separated in a machine
This is a brown boiled rice (siddhon chal). The brown is not husk rather the rice's colour.
