Not only is it entertaining to watch these builds, I learn a lot from Mr. Red Beard. I have gotten so my ideas from your channel for my builds. Keep up the great content. 👍🏼
Those rotating lock collars work well by themselves. you actually use a hammer and a punch to tighten them before tightening the set screw. They are very difficult to move after doing that. Just my 2 cents. Great channel, thanks for your time.
This is a real kick in the pants, can't wait for the race. I follow Cars & Cameras also when you guys came up in the feed...a real treat to watch. Last go-kart I got into was a Royal Norseman dad built for me when I was 8...back in 1958. I'm reliving my childhood here with you boys! thanks.
Can't wait to see how everyone puts their vidyas together for this race after it's all done and said... Best wishes to You and Yours RB.... Time for the ole dust up...Yeeeeee
@@alexhaste5912 I wish I did, I built it over 15 years ago. It was wild though, not sure what the top speed was, figure maybe around 90 or 100, but the front wheels started shaking at 65 or so. Had to be careful shifting, too, she'd give you a full view of the sky if you grabbed third gear too hard. Man I miss that thing..
@@99milesaway41 😂😂😂 dang that’s awesome I’ve done a couple of small things like that and I know what you mean about the front wheels on them Mine threw a bearing and flew off at around 45 and I lucked out by not flipping it but I was close 😂
@@alexhaste5912 😂😂 man I'm telling you, I got some stories about that thing. Almost killed myself a few times, almost flew off some mountain trail corners, almost ran into my aunt's minivan, that's when I found out about third gear... Aaaand rolled it I'm not sure how many times at the beach one day. Definitely enough that I was dizzy when I crawled out, and had done some serious damage. Had her running the next day though. Man.... I'm starting to feel like it's time to build another one 😈
I love watching the builds, and the love for Our LORD being shared with everyone.I don't see the house though?I see everyone's newest vehicle.Perhaps you shouldn't park a $50k car,and 3 of them,in front of people who eat Ramein Noodles so they can kick you a shirt buy?
Great! J0B RB!! There's someone who builds Trucks, There's someone who builds racecars, There's someone who builds rocket ships, There's someone who builds BadAss go karts. Never STOP RB.. NEVER STOP.
Im in australia so we never got the dingo kart as far as I know. Is there any build plans available with the dimensions around. would really love to build one.
Hey i bought the same engine this last Christmas and ive noticed a ticking sound when its running coming from what sounds like the front bottom side of the engine basically at the crank. Just wondering if you have experienced this sound with these engines also? Already voided the warranty and i feel like its just gonna blow up. it's made the sound from the box so not sure if its just these engines or i got a lemon it runs and drives so far so it must not be anything too damaging for now.... also seemed to run kinda hot idk if thats just the bigger hemi and im not used to it or what
You would get better movement out of the the rods if you used allen head bolts. Are you sure you want to run slicks on dirt? I would think you want some cleats so it'll grip
You really should put bars that stick out from the sides to prevent other kart tires from getting in between your karts tires. I’ve see people get hurt from tires rolling up on top of each other when racing yard karts.
On the Tillotson website it says 10,000 RPM for 10 second, 8,000 RPM for 30 seconds, but I'm not sure if that only applies to the ones with a PVL flywheel or what. You might notice on the website the engine pictured has a different looking pull start housing, maybe they downgraded the flywheel since then but never updated the description. I noticed my new Tillotson 212-E Hemi had a plastic fan and that got me wondering. It looks like they might have pulled a little bait and switch but I can't be sure.
That thing needs a lot more high speed gearing if you're planning on winning any races against other karts...30mph prolly ain't gonna cut it...taller more aggressive tires out back and a final gearing sprocket change might be a good thang.. On a short, curvy paved track it'd be hard to beat as is now..
I know what happened my 2 brothers and I had 4 of them dingos they folded it up on a tree, rock or rolled it end for end and had no way to stretch it back out. We would chain one end to a cat D6 and the other to a excavator and some times a porta power to push the cage back up
Un-Official rule change ! This is the beginnings of the WORLD of IN-LAW KART racing at Cars & Camera’s Revival racing series. The only rules , it has to be safe enough that you would let your mother in-law race it ! If she can’t fit inside the roll cage and under the wing it must be removed , bean bag chairs are not aloud under CCRR rules as safety seats however 2” nylon Ratchet Straps with grade 8 three point connections are the exception provided they facilitate HANS requirements with no less 20% of drivers wt used to ratchet that bitch down , center of seat , under lap belt strap , over centerline of helmet to ratchet point below shoulders . If vision impaired due to width of strap , alternatively remove helmet and secure strap increase ratchet force x 2 . This is just suggested guidelines do what you want !

And
That kart looks fun.
I really do appreciate the time and effort you put into your builds. They are super clean and not janky.
I'm ready for this weekends videos of the dustbowl 500. I'm excited to see what all you guys get in to. Stay safe.
That is a well built cart, that does EXACTLY what Lonnie wants it to, every time. I predict fun times ahead!
👍👍❤️
Representin' EastTN! Have fun!
I love it. A nice plain old kart. Good power to weight. Well done not overdoing it

I can't wait to see that race.
Great tunes too👍
the dingo chassis just has a nice geometry to it. even the C&C dingo running an tired tecumseh posted a great time on their grand prix lap board.
best yardcart yet.I need to get one now im hooked!
Looks sweet.
Is everyone using the same size sprocket? Props to GPS for carrying Manco parts. I couldn’t have built my XTK without them.

That looked fun AF drifting around that field Nice build Red Beard 🔥👍✌️

I have the same muffler have just never seen the reducer that has it connected to the exhaust pipe, is that homegrown?
I believe they attempted to cut it to make the cart longer
Cool video

Good free go car
Looks bad ass
So cool
I love it guys, but y'all know a dingo isn't really fast until you put a 1980 Yamaha it425 2 stroke on it. Trust me, it's really fast then.
Do you have a vid of it bc I want to see this😂

I would swap the passenger front and driver rear tires for the race. Helps grip on circle tracks making that left turn
What was the mean mugg walk and heavy sigh about 😂😂😂
What wheel hubs a did yall use for the rear axel all the ones im finding have the 4 studs and I need the ones with 3
is that black gas pipe you're using for steering support? I have used it and its great, heavy but great to work with.
Kart looks good....i imagine some knobbies would have been the way too go tho.
Everyone is using slicks in the race. Can’t use knobbies.
@@joshbannon8989 I wondered why they were using slicks. No traction at all, just slide.
No grease zerks on the spindles?
Nice! I hope those tires hookup a little better in a dust bowl…
Maybe install miniature airbags under the seat to act like suspension on your tailbone 😂

What tooth rear sprocket did you use? Stock I believe is 54 tooth. I am currently building something similar.

Would button head bolts help with your lock collar problem?
Yes sir!
crazy fast go kart he says, still waiting to see the fast go kart videos over

can suspension but put on this cart ?

He He Berry Booger. To funny.
Dont forget to take some treaded tires with u to the cars and cameras meet...
Didn't the flywheels used to be rated for 10,000 rpm on the Tillotson? It was advertised as such when I bought mine from GPS.
Nice
They were going to extend the frame and had a bipolar moment and decided to just put it back like it was. Ive had similiar issues in the shop lol

They specifically asked for us to use slicks.
You should run some stagger so it will be easier to turn on that dirt track
You really should put bars that stick out from the sides to prevent other kart tires from getting in between your karts tires. I’ve see people get hurt from tires rolling up on top of each other when racing yard karts.
23:10 lawnmower
Is it extended? Those dingos are short frame carts. Just built and sold one with a 390. Regrets...
Where can I buy a billet three magnet billet flywheel so I can run charging coils?
How much horsepower does the engine make
Una pregunta si le pedimos un go kart nos lo trairia a México o lo trans portaria a mexico ,que remos uno igual

I doubt anyone is going to be going much faster than 30 on that little circle track. Of je gears it low hell have ore power to get out of the corners
