I’d just as soon see them re-sign Rojas and Turner. Then see where they stand in July with what they have in the minors and whatever the rest of the team is doing.
They've never actually said what the budget will be, they've only said that the payroll would increase.
I saw a blue Jays sight that was touting Bichette for, a Cole Young and Castillo. And no. I don't want Bregman either.
Trade Castillo and whatever else to the Royals for Vinnie Pasquantino and Javier Vaz. Trade JP and prospects to the Diamondbacks for Jake McCarthy and Gino Groover. Bring up Cole Young to play SS. Bring up Brandyn Garcia to replace Castillo. There's enough power in the Mariner's lineup, they need high contact/OBP, also lower K rate, guys to set the table for Julio, Randy, Cal, etc. If we can't spend like they're reporting, try to dump salary and get some sort of return and bring up fringe guys to fill in the rest.
Just stopped in to say that uts pretty obvious mariners will not be acquiring any of the people these two guys try to hype you up for. They sho7ld start calling it the day dream podcast
Carlos Santana turned down the Mariners contract offer. Just keeps getting more embarrassing. Don’t blame him though. Tough to have trust in trader Jerry and Mr. Scrooge himself Stanton.
Nolan Arenado trade?
He's not accepting a trade here
False choice. Torres is lazy, unfocused and sucks on D. He will hit poorly in Seattle. OPS in Seattle for career is .646. Go sign Yoan Moncada to a incentive laden 1 year deal.
So you would rather sign an objectively worse player?
@@MarineLayerPod For 1 year for tons less money, he can play 3b, Torres cannot, lifetime OPS+ of 106 compared to Torres 112. Yes I would do it. No longterm commitment.
