Do parking tickets have to be issued within 14 days?

    I thought the law was on our side and says that the PCN has to arrive within 14 days! Are you sure you have these facts right??

      The thing they need to write the law on the ticket to be limited by it seems pretty stupid right.

      It isn't 14 days either. I wish people would stop saying this. It's nothing like that if you factor in DVLA delays, postal delays and the fact that it's you have have to prove you haven't received something sent by post, rather than them prove it. "A notice sent by post is to be presumed, unless the contrary is proved, to have been delivered ... on the second working day after the day on which it is posted". How would you prove when you received something?

    So if they issue the parking charge notice in time but you don’t receive it in time can you use that rule ?
