  • Hey Lovies!
It's nice to see you here again!
When in Kenya, go on Safari! That's what I will say. My first experience on a safari drive was amazing. First, I had made friends at this point and you will see them throughout the video. Secondly, the tour guide was really good at explaining things to us, he spoke fluent English (as do all the people I met in Kenya), and he knew all the animals we asked him about as well as their behaviours. I really loved that all the tour operators were in communication with each other so we knew which areas to go to next to spot some wild animals. And thirdly, we saw a lot of action from the animals. Though Nairobi National Park is not the biggest in the country, it boasts such a diverse population of animals.
If you are planning to go on safari here too here are a few tips from me:
    - Go on the morning tours (the earlier the better)
    - Make sure you are properly clothed (even though Kenya isn't technically cold, the morning breeze will catch you off guard because the tour vans open at the roof for viewing so be ready)
    - Carry a power bank with you (we were taking so many pictures and videos, unfortunately our vehicle's power outlets weren't working that day so we could not charge during the drive).
I hope to visit Masai Mara next time, as I have heard it is quite stunning too.
As usual, I hope you enjoyed this video. See you in the next one. In the meantime, you can check me out on the following social media platforms:

Gurrrrl, I know right? But where am I going to go on Safari when I am busy travelling Europe and Asia? hehe, but really its just that I haven’t had the right mix of factors (money, time and proximity) fall into place like they did this time. I have heard that they have some amazing places in the Eastern Cape, have you ever been?

Among all 40 game parks and reserves, the Nairobi national park is the smallest! Parks like Tsavo East and Tsavo West combined are larger than Switzerland!
The idea is to let animals live, roam and migrate unhindered through their traditional habitats

Thank you for the information. I will look up Tsavo next time but for now, Nairobi National Park was the closest to where we were staying. I had a lovely first experience of a safari overall.
