I'm grown man, And I love to watch these two. Down to earth and Just Good People and They know what there doing! I got little teary eyed watching this and Seeing how happy this young couple was and what a Beautiful Home they now have....

This show’s couple do such amazing work! I’m always blown away by the care and detail that they put into each home. Truly they are born to do what they do.
What I love is how Ben can just walk by a woodpile and make total magic happen. He makes the most beautiful home projects out of what looks like pieces of junk; butcher block tables, all kinds of things. Worth watching the show just for that.

I love every thing about this couple. They care about the family not just how much they'll make. They have a great family also. So in love and happy. Amazing how much they get done with the budget of the couple compared to the other shows that take the whole budget and the couple dont get all they asked for. I don't understand how it works but i always said if I was lucky to have a house redone I would want Ben and Erin to do it.
What a great project, and I love the ways that Ben and Erin put the homeowners' families and history all throughout the house. The guest suite was also showed some innovative methods to hide the ugly with all the new pretty. Good stuff.
WOW!!! The work you guy's do is amazing. I could watch you bring houses back to life all day. Love them all.

These two are one of my favorites 💕 they are a sweet show when most other TV is trash.
It would be a dream for ben and Erin to work their magic on a house for me. Love their aesthetic!! Their town does have uniquely beautiful old homes that they bring back to life. I would love a wide wrap around porch 🥰 so jelly.

Love this house but then again I love everything n I mean everything that Ben n Erin do to the homes they renovate. The porch was gorgeous, so big. If my husband n I were a few year younger I would love to move to Laurel Mississippi n have Ben n Erin do over a home for us. They make a great team n their work is priceless.
We maybe getting older to move to another state n I would of probably have done it until I realized they get tornadoes there. Can’t handle that. Hurricanes I can in my state , u e got time to prepare for it. Love watching Home Town n can’t wait for new season. ♥️♥️😊👍

Love love the after so beautiful and love how they kept the character of the home and reused and reimagined the pieces that they took down. I normally I'm not a fan of dark colors interior but this is absolutely gorgeous.

I lived in an old 1960's singlewide for more than a decade, so I learned a few tricks about how to deal with the limitations. Even if you hate your floorplan, there's still stuff you can do. The most important thing I discovered was to look up because that's where you can make more space: I put shelves over the doors (doors are where you are gonna find wall studs easily) and above head-height in a small hallway. I covered boxes with pretty paper to put on the shelves and this increased my storage substantially, but simply and with low cost. If you can't use your cabinets, maybe you can take some of the doors off. This is something I did with a cabinet that just didn't work for me. I painted the cabinet inside and out so it would look nice, and I was able to store things neatly.
Actually, I've lived a bunch of inconvenient awkward awful places (hey, I'm old; I've moved a lot of times) so I knwo that there's always something you can do. Rule number one: the only thing in life that you can really change is your own mind. So stop hating the place; find quirky things that you can have fun with and then it will start smiling back at you--that's when it feels like home. Just start small and use what you have on hand. You can do this!

@@Wayniesgirl Thanks. As the child of Depression Era parents, I was taught the old saying "use it up, wear it out, make it do, do without" and I still believe that is one of the best things to know. There is always something that we can do; we just have to convince ourselves that we can and that we should.
I think that would be an awesome HGTV series they have enough people doing your typical brick and mortar house how about a mobile home or even live in RVs
I do love American homes. When I win the lottery, I'm gonna build a Federal style home. I love them.

I love that their designs are beautiful but not over the top. Kids who grew up with HGTV think that walk in closets and bathrooms for every child is normal. Thanks for keeping it real and attainable.

@@luv2dancesalsa - My Irish grandparents and my Great grandparents on my Irish granddad's side all lived in the two flats above their stationery shop in Co. Cork. There was a dumb waiter from the shop floor that went up to the kitchen both flats shared (the kitchen was above the shop and had a storeroom for the shop there), and the up to the two flats above it. That way things from the shop or to the shop could be sent up and down (along with notes as well!) without the aging residents (or small children when my father and aunt were growing up) trailing up and down MANY flights of stairs. Likewise hot drinks/food could be sent down the shop floor for those working during the day, or up to the two flats. It was probably THE most useful thing in the whole building and was kept in tip top condition because without it they would've all been forced to go up and down the stairs a million times a day for every little thing.
Sadly my great grandparents died before I was six and the business was sold, my grandparents moving out of the city in their retirement. So I only have vague memories of my own of the dumb waiter. I do remember a story of me getting stuck in it though! Apparently I was called, with fondness a 'rapskallion' by my late grandmother at four, before graduating to a less fond 'little hellion' by age eight! The former means little mischief maker, the latter means leader of trouble....I wore both names with pride as the only girl in a family of male cousins until I was 12! XD XD
@@tallblonde1976 These are closet-sized vertical passages built into walls that connect the kitchen to rooms upstairs. You put a tray of food in them then pull the rope to make it ascend where the butler gets it and delivers it (to the dining room, etc.)

I’m in love with that house! Building a platform over all of that air conditioning work how ingenious! Placement of the bed on the platform? I don’t know how I feel about that... at the end of the day before I went to bed, I felt like I would have to bow or curtsy to my imaginary audience.
