Absolute perfection. The homeowner said that it looks like it's always been like that, and that's a major compliment. I love to see older homes brought back to their original glory, but also look contemporary. They are so incredibly thoughtful with their designs. The new homeowner looked like she was in the verge of tears the whole time. Erin always asks over and over if the homeowner likes what they've done. The tears speak for themselves.
Ben and Erin are my FAVORITE of ALL of the home reno shows! They are real, full of integrity & faith, plus have the biggest sweetest hearts!!! I'm sooooo inspired by the 2 of them, their relationship with each other, and their hearts for their HOME TOWN, to restore historic homes, and draw people in, to move to their HOME TOWN! I LOVE YOU GUYS....GOD BLESS THE BOTH OF YOU!!!💞🙏🕊🥰
This is one of my favorite homes they’ve ever done!!! My daughter is a designer on the show and I told her I want a home as close to this as possible to retire in!!!❤️❤️❤️
I liked that they did not/were not able to tear down walls. There is something to be said for enclosed spaces, especially the kitchen where you can shut the door on cooking smells and open a window. Cooking is not a spectator sport and I don't care to have people watch me do it.
One of my favorites too. Every time they renovate one of those historic homes and a majority of the original woodwork is still there and in great condition, I'm smiling and crying at the same time.
I love their work and how they respect and restore the original making each house unique instead of modernizing everything and making it all appeal to the standard taste.
None of their makeovers appeal to me since I am not a fan of "down home folksiness", but I like renovation shows and the Napiers are the least offensive in a packed field.
They are soooo talented. The quality of craftsmanship is very good and solid. Though it is the cabinets in the kitchens that make the houses a home. Each is unique. That is their talent. Also, no screaming or arguing, just kindness and smiles. Music is not too busy or loud, especially when they are speaking. Thanks folks. Keep on truck'n.
Ok. I just came across this pair. Super talented. He’s a wonderful carpenter and she is a fantastic artist. Both are creative designers who make spaces that are classic, fresh, and will not be dated, ever. Amazing humans who make people happy and give them beautiful homes to live in. Well done.
Out of all the shows i have see on fixing up homes so beautifully your tastes and style is always spot on color textures you choose to make your clients so happy you go far beyond there wilderness dreams it is a pleasure to watch you both i dont have a home yet but when i do i would love love love ❤ to have you help me now that would be a dream come true ❤thank you both !!!!
@@CAJ100 there's some kind of lazy-susan like turning rack that basically spins either inside the cabinet or spins out of the cabinet to make the space in corner cabinets usable.
@@mybusylife2158 It stinks because even if I had to get on my knees and work to access all the way back there, it'd be worth it to store the turkey pan I use once a year or something.
I think this is your best work yet! The talents of both of you really shine through on this beautiful Italian home! The interior decor is so perfect, it actually brought tears to my eyes! It looks like it literally was moved here from southern Italy! Congrats to the lucky new owners, but also to the both of you !
I have a brick home with a very similar features inside and out, like the half moon windows and crown moldings. I painted everything by myself last year the exact same color! I love it, so do my neighbors. What a coincidence! Love Erin and Ben ❤ 🤍 💙 🧡 🖤 ♥️ ❤ 🤍 💙 🧡 🖤 ♥️ ❤ 🤍
Erin and Ben you both are such awesome designers. I am in the middle of buying my first home in Alabama. I pray I will make it look as beautiful as you could. Blessings to you both and to your beautiful girls as well.
I absolutely love it! The antique Persian runner, the light-fixtures, the windows, the kitchen! It was beautiful and homey at the same time. Looked like a home you can live in. I'm so glad Erin doesn't rip out all the upper cabinets. I always cringe when I see the shows that eliminates all the useable storage in a kitchen so it looks open and airy. A kitchen is a working room, not a place to film your tik tok, instagram post! Some of us cook and need actual storage! Erin seems to get this. This kitchen had cabinets wrapping all around, just like I'd want!
Ok ... this is my most favorite Reno... Beautiful home ... ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS .... My exact style...GREAT JOB.... I love your floor guy.. he does excellent work... I just want to mention, John... I think that was his name... I am so sorry he passed away... I loved his personality... He is in heaven ... Good heart....Kind heart....Yup... in heaven looking down on that beautiful home you made for him...🌷
I’ve watched your show since the very beginning and I absolutely love you guys and I love the show wondering if you could ever share some of the paint colors you use and especially the interior of this house , really like wood trim. I don’t know what color that was but it was just wonderful. Thanks so much
@3:57, 😱the runner needs stair rods to keep it in place. Nails is not going to do it. @6:19, this must the first house where walls weren't torn down. A house should introduce itself and not be a vast open space from the front doorstep. It's a beautiful house and I am glad there wasn't the budget to mess with it.
The red runner on the stairs - ghastly! And the staging makes it look like Winners outlet in a Mall! Totally cluttered and busy! But since the show is scripted, they have no option but to keep saying over and over - Oh my God!! I love it! I luuuuuvve it!!; It's purrrrrfect!!!!; This is not our house!!!; OH maaai GAWD!!! I'm going to cry!!! I just luuuuve the color!!!: You guys nailed it!!!
Hey Ben & Erin. Love watching reruns! This one is one of my very favorites! It's so my style. I congratulate y'all again on the birth of ya'll precious little girl. Hope all is good. May GOD BLESS y'all in all y'all put you hands to. In HIS name JESUS CHRIST I pray 👐👐❤❤💞
Americans tend to have an old fashioned sense of style. This house has been “redone” but still looks old. Here in Australia, most houses are built or renovated in a more contemporary style.
Hi i watch your series in Milan, where i live, the only problem i have with your methods is your choice to always take down the trees or plants in front of the facade .. here we value the green and i personally find that adds not diminishes the whole specially if there is a front porch! (also i t gives freshness and shade)
So, I have been following you for some time and wonder what your process is. I lived in Gulfport and now am in Washington DC . Should I move to Laurel and have you create something for my wife and I or do you want to endeavor a trip up North to rejuvinate our 116 year old house?
I liked what they did with the house. I would have liked if they showed the bedrooms, but maybe they weren't refurbished (due to budget constraints). I didn't like the stair runner, and I wish the outside painting of the second floor windows was done more carefully.
I disagree about the wafflecone…. Had the same thing in our house. Good sweep and a mop and it went away after living in the house… sort of just went away with the daily wear.. plus we have rugs that help cover some ofnit
I like this show very much . I especially love Ben . Because Ben is a true craftsman at highest levels . I remember a walnut dinner table he crafted . What a magnificent piece of furniture . I am talking heirloom grade . But the problem is . All their houses are located in Mississippi . And there is no way , I would ever relocate to such a badly run state . Look at the stats , Mississippi , with regards to rankings of the lower 48 states is at rock bottom in every category : Infrastructure , Healthcare , Job Opportunities , Education . Between Louisiana and Mississippi , they are rated the absolutely worst states to live in.
That runner with the green stairs is awful. I get trying to tie in colors outside and the style, and the floral print framed on the wall behind the door was a good try, but the colors just don't work.
Если присмотреться нед окрашено где то перекрашено- мастера ниже плинтуса!За счет мебели и декора выигрывает проект только У нас в РБ никто же не купили такой бы дом!
I love that they don't go with trends but with beauty.
This is my favorite home makeover show. Ben and Erin are down to earth. So talented. And the homes they do are real, livable.
Mine, too

Erin has the most wonderful sense of color and design, and Ben has the workmanship. Great renovations!
This is one of my favorite homes they’ve ever done!!! My daughter is a designer on the show and I told her I want a home as close to this as possible to retire in!!!❤️❤️❤️

My number one reno team i find myself down a rabbit hole of home town ...
Ain't there's no home completed without Persian rug .... proud of my heritage 😘😍😍
They are soooo talented.

I feel like these 2 are the new Chip and JoJo - they are so cute together. So happy for them now that they just had daughter #2
I think Ben and Erin design makeovers are stunning. Their eye for detail, colour (oh, the colours!) and dimensions are truly outstanding.
I appreciate their eye for color as designers. It’s pretty incredible.

I can't get over how well they make everything work together. That kitchen was stunning among rooms that were all beautiful.

That kitchen is a total dream!
How would you access the lower corner cupboard?
@@CAJ100 there's some kind of lazy-susan like turning rack that basically spins either inside the cabinet or spins out of the cabinet to make the space in corner cabinets usable.
@@mybusylife2158 You'd think, but no. At 4:25 and 4:32 you can see both interior sides of the cabinet block off the corner.
@@CAJ100 oh, I see. Totally missed that!

Ben and Erin..really talented. Ben" s woodworking...oh My...amazing.
Haha that floor guy got them so fast! Light sanding and another coat of finish is all they needed.
Yup, did them up like a kipper!
Gotta love Mike the flooring guy! He is always smiling away! 😃
I agree he makes the best furniture I have ever seen, he is so talented & he is truly amazing
I love ben and erin, they are such a cute couple. Ben is so talented with his woodworking projects and erin has a really great style
All your Houses look cosy! Confortable, personalized!❤
I love this! I like how Erin will find an old rug for the stairs and it works perfectly.

Love watching "Home Town" Erin&Ben.
You are my favorite TV couple.
From Italy with love!
I just love Ben and Erin !

How did it go ?
Wow! Love that kitchen!
This couple is amazing in designs!!! Luv it..😍🤩

I love how this turned out.
Love this home sooo much!! Perfect!
Amazing transformation. Great colors, design, and execution.
This is one of my favorite homes Ben and Erin have renovated. Love, love ❤

They rock! Erin and her hubby ❤. Love .
Gorgeous house, the kitchen though....show stopper!!
Love the vintage carpet. Excellent
My favorite HGTV show and couple.
I love everything you do! Well done :)

It's beautiful!
Beautiful ✌️🍷🖤
Love you two! You're so sweet and lovable with absolutely beautiful designs!
Preciosooooo!
Wow I have never heard someone say swell except in old movies 😂
Beautiful house 🤗🤗🤗
The runner on the stairs is a knock off of a Persian rug. Machine made thats why it’s only 150.00.

What’s with the messy paint job on the stairway and the windows?
Coolest house ever it’s so awesome how it looks outside too. I’m not a fan of the colored molding though at all!
I liked what they did with the house. I would have liked if they showed the bedrooms, but maybe they weren't refurbished (due to budget constraints). I didn't like the stair runner, and I wish the outside painting of the second floor windows was done more carefully.
It was a shocking paint job, no masking up or removal of over painting.
Ich liebe die zwei! ❤️
Good decision to refinish the floors. The old varnish had turned the color of old urine.
Your flooring guy sounds Cajun. Is he a South Louisiana fellow?

❤️ Love, love the show!!! HATE the music. 🙉
If those floors are old enough the finish will be paste wax. Varsol and 0000 steel wool will fix them
Jeg ville ønske jeg kunne se hele programet, men ak jeg fra Danmark og må nøjes med 10 min sammen drav. Elsker dem dog så lidt er beder ind intet 🇩🇰❤️
I hope they cleaned up the paintwork on the stairs - it looked terrible?
6:51 her face…is that good or bad?
Ben the craftsman
I would have kept the laundry room where it was.
That runner with the green stairs is awful. I get trying to tie in colors outside and the style, and the floral print framed on the wall behind the door was a good try, but the colors just don't work.
I wonder if you could have washed or non abrasive scrubbed the "waffle" left over from the carpet pad...?
