I had no idea of this show until I went in 2017 and even if for some it is something simple, for film lovers it is something beautiful, it goes through the history of the industry from the first screenings of the Lumier brothers to the present day. It is a love letter to the cinema in every way and it is a pity that they closed it. I unknowingly visited her one day before closing and I just found out today :c
The sign of a really great movie and attraction is that it gets better each time it is viewed. A brilliant 4D attraction that really should get seen again in a theater!
I remember going there and watching the show as a kid and now, years later, was looking forward to watching it again last week, only to find out it closed. Shame, as it was really spectacular and I happen to remember key moments from it from back then still. Good thing there are videos like this to watch and remember what it was like.
Still can’t fathom why they’d get rid of this. Maybe update it with the avengers & other recent films but honestly this is 1 of the best attractions ever of all time & I only hope it is revived or replaced with something similar as it’s such a great way to show the history & best examples of cinema/silver screen.
If Disney ever wants to re use this, they should put this at the Sunset Showcase Theater at Disneyland California Adventure, and put it alongside Mickey's Philharmagic and maybe even put back Muppet Vision 3D.
Such a shame. My son and I used to go to see this at least 2-3 times while we visited the park. Such an amazing show. Will be sadly missed
