Ah! Finally! A quality review that isn’t that one that comes up when you search Acura TSX where it has the thumbnail “The Worst Performance Car” and then the entire review he talks about how good it is 🤷‍♂️. Glad it’s getting some love finally!!

I love my 2004 TSX. I am a courier with a 225 mile route three times a week. I’ve owned it 5 years and it is the most maintenance free car I’ve owned in my 43 years of driving. Oil changes, tires, brake pads, transmission power flush, radiator flush and new spark plugs and coils is all I’ve needed to do. Back country roads are not a problem and consistently get 31 mpg even with spirited highway driving. Acura hit a home run with this build. Great video of this awesome little daily driver.

Recently picked up a 06' TSX in pearl white with 157k miles, clean title. It's an automatic, and I paid a total of $1,800 after paying for registration and insurance. I absolutely love this car, it has such a timeless design and its aged really well in my opinion.

I bet it didn’t take long to sell. 6MT TSXs are understandably desirable and not too common - in my area, at least.
Cars from the ‘90s and ‘00s really “hit the spot”. Just enough tech, just enough safety features, just enough efficiency and plenty of personality and character that an enthusiast could fall in love with. The TSX was no exception.

This is actually a quality review of a Honda/ Acura. They do indeed make great cars. I myself on a CL7 2 litre Honda Accord variant of this car in the UK and absolutely love it! its not the fastest thing in the world with only 155bhp and a 5 speed manual, but it cruises so nice and is lovely and comfortable, I'd have another one though.

This review was actually really well done and accurate. I just bought an 06 as my first car for $1500 off my neighbor. Seems to be the best decision I ever made, I love the car! It has just the right performance for my liking, handles like a beast, and it’s reliable. Also can’t forget it’s a Honda, so low insurance cost is there, even for me, just getting my license, it’s pretty affordable on one of these!!
Edit: only cosmetic mods in my opinion it really needs it is a black roof wrap and a set of Enkei Icon wheels!! Specs are Premium Pearl White paint, A-Spec Spoiler and Split 5-spoke factory rims (two are bent from previous owner, which is the reason for needing to buy new ones)

I've got an 08 Silver TSX. Absolutely love this car. Great value for the money and just a great looking car, really timeless. Everytime I wash and clean the thing I'm reminded how much of a great machine it is. I liken to a high quality precision watch that isn't ridiculously expensive. Like a Tissot or high quality Seiko. I recently changed the lower control arms and struts/springs. Went with KYB and Tein 1 inch lowering springs. Great ride quality and proper stock ride height.

How hp was rated was changed for the +06 TSX compared to how hp was rated for the 04-05 models. The +06 2.4L engine improvement up the hp to 205. The 200hp 04-05 TSX was rated at 192-195 hp whe the new measurement was applied. You can feel the hp differences on the butt dyno if you drive a 04/05 TSX back-to-back with a 06/08.

*I used your clear coat headlight instructions for my TSX and came out great*. Purchased my 2005 TSX in 2009... 11 years ago. It is built proof, engine and transmission oil laboratory results show that both are in good shape and have low amounts of wear. Current mileage is 155,000 mixed city and highway. Current upgrades are Bilstein shocks, 21mm rear swayer, subframe connectors, Z rated performance tires, Akebono break pads and centric rotors. . Handling is exceptional.Handling exceeds the oil pump system as it can pull enough G force to shove the oil away from the oil pick up... I'm religious on maintenance though also. Overkill to most. I also have a new deck and upgraded cabin speakers. I have some engine problems I need to sort out, but after that I do hope to upgrade suspension and get a new paint job. money money money.

    Great video
I just bought this for my daughters first car last week but I not sure if the doors lock when you put on drive or you have to do it manually? Because she noticed don’t lock or unlock when she turn the car off
    Sorry crazy question
Just wondering I want her safe so she might have to do this every time?
    Thanks again

I installed the rear camber arms but didn’t really need them for a mild drop. More just in case I ever wanted to go really low. The bbs were 18x8 +40 and didn’t rub at that height unless I hit a big bump with both kids in the car.
