Good move! We will be lucky to have you here. Make sure you have a summer escape, because it gets crazy hot. I’ve been (mostly) in Dubai since 2007, and generally found it a great place especially for young families. I’ve lived in 10 countries since birth, and there is no perfect place. It just depends what tradeoffs you are willing to make at different stages of your life. I currently split my time across 3-4 homes in different countries, but overall UAE is the best. Your analysis on the pros of Dubai are spot on.
