Just saw ye in Dublin ~Ireland.March 18th 2024.for those recording...brilliant concert..I remember going to see Simple Minds in the early 80's in the phoneix park Dublin.........this time it was a present from my children for my 60th birthday......pure magic....Simple Minds are still incredible today..........

Cannot believe how many bad comments there are. OK alive and kicking might be better played earlier, but the guy is 64 and the tour is nonstop! That day was incredibly hot too so to be honest it's more like Promise You A Miracle!! Saw them in Leeds on 15th March and I was blown away!! I can't believe how brilliant they actually are so maybe they are better not including Australia next time they tour if they aren't appreciated as much as they were 40+years ago!!!!
I loved Simple Minds back in the 80s, but this version is not so alive and kicking -- more like tired and napping. 🥱 Yes it's the last song of their set, but that's all the more reason to give it your all, right? Well, it's at least a bit more kicking when played at 1.25 speed. 😆
