vE 10 🇨🇭 Eerie Gotthard pass in the fog and rain

For my fourth consecutive day cycling through Switzerland, I climb the Gotthard pass at 2100 meters, and I descend almost all the way to Lugano, in a thick fog, and then in the storm.

I love riding in the thickest of fogs, in particular, complete whiteout blizzards.
It always reminds me of an oldschool video game where the scenery upfront hasn't yet loaded up on the screen so you've gotta be thinking and reacting fast.
Best when going through a sparse forest as the trees appear out of nowhere and really push you.

Indeed, but it's also because this part of Switzerland is Italian speaking, so their local food is the same as Northern Italian food.
And indeed, the rain was very challenging !
