This is such a fun experiment! I don't think I'd be able to stick within 100$ our Ubers here are so expensive with the surge charging. Your accommodation looked great too. You were able to do so much stuff, it's actually quite impressive. Did you plan it in advance or wing it?
We knew the places that we wanted to showcase in advance, but didn’t check their menus beforehand for prices. Everything also depended on whether we could find affordable accommodation that day 😱 can’t believe how lucky we got with that one!
Our plan was that if we couldn’t find a place to stay, to turn around and go home 😂
Do $100 challenge in Ballito! A really cool concept, love it! :) Maybe One on Durban beach front of all the kinds of things you can hire with $100? I always see people on bikes and things which they hire, but I never knew where they get it or how much it costs to hire. :)

I really liked this type of video. I think this may be one of my favorite videos. I hope you will do more videos with this similar idea. It doesn’t have to alway be $100- if needs to be over that is fine, but I like you having a budgeted amount and showing what you can get from luxury to buying chips/rolls 😂

Is Uber ride is safe in South Africa?
Hi, when taking Uber we always made sure to not take it alone. But we've never personally had any issues.
Prices are scary from what u say in ur vid. In 2003 Breakers Hotel cost my wife and I about R2700. 00 for 5days..... Incredible
Question: I left Durban in 2001...Calicos became Refresh in Overport City...DHS owned that place...has it gone?
