Amazing! I'd love to have this version of Parade or a Super Deluxe Edition like you said! I'd also love separate or included in a Super Deluxe Edition, the movie Under The Cherry Moon in color and with all the deleted scenes!✌️💜
How ironic that Claire Fisher and Prince never met in person given his input to Prince's music. I met Mr. Fischer once, as he was personal friend of my high school music teachers. A pleasant, humble gentleman. 💯
Good stuff. I've heard all the versions you mentioned except the Clair Fischer version of Life Can Be So Nice. I'd love to hear that and I know that one day I will because for sure we will get a Parade super deluxe re-release but first it'll be Around The World In A Day, I suspect.... I suspect because a friend who works for a fairly major London record shop told me that is the ONLY album of Prince's discography that they have stopped stocking (since the start of this year) because apparently it's been discontinued. Well-known and major label albums tend to get discontinued if a re-release is imminent. Also, if you look at His album sales, the super deluxe re-releases seem to reflect that the originally-highest-selling albums are being chosen (1999, Purple Rain, Diamonds & Pearls) and the next highest is Around The World In A Day. The only higher selling albums not super deluxed are the Batman album, which won't get a super deluxe for a long time due to the rights being with a different company (as with the Sign O' The Times concert film) and his second album, Prince, which I don't think will get a super deluxe re-release next (or soon) simply because it wasn't from a time when He was world-wide famous which makes that album a bit more niche, so that one will probably come later and the only other higher selling album of His is the 2001 compilation, The Very Best Of, which (most probably!) won't ever get a super deluxe re-release. (Mind you, writing all that blah about highest selling albums being super deluxed and I noticed that Sign O' The Times sold less than all the albums mentioned above AND less than Parade and Musicology but that one still got super deluxeness - Perhaps on the strength of it being a fan AND critic/journalist favourite.........which Around The World In A Day is, as well!) Ta-daaa! You're welcome, ha ha ha! 🙂
I always felt like ALL MY DREAMS belonged on PARADE.
All My Dreams 💜
literally just made this as a playlist with my local files yesterday
