    Like a sunrise, an earthquake and a long-duration clap of thunder all at once signaling our return to the Moon and beyond! Go Artemis!

    Glad you liked it. I also loved how the GoPro, mounted to the chain link fence, started shaking when the shock waves and sound hit. It captured the feeling I had when the bleachers actually started vibrating underfoot. Quite amazing!

    I watched a rocket launch from this site last summer in June or July in 2023. I believe it was a Falcon 9 rocket in the afternoon. My first time seeing one from this viewing place!

    Grats SLS on your successful launch of Artemis 1.
    Amazing how old Space Shuttle engines can be used to launch modern rockets. Slap on a couple solid boosters and good to go.

      Thanks. It was an amazing launch. And the next one will send astronauts around the Moon!!!

    • @dsfddsgh
      @dsfddsgh ปีที่แล้ว

      Why are we using old technology like Space Shuttle engines? I would think after all of these years we would have come up with new types of engines not something that's been around since the late 70's.

      @@I4Corridorparanormal Hi BMWracing1979. Tim Dodd, the everyday astronaut made a great video about watching launches from the KSC area. Check it out at: th-cam.com/video/OBLeg0CvHek/w-d-xo.html
      Also - be aware that things change for every launch - so check once the launch date is closer. I can tell you that for me it was a fantastic experience, so it is probably worth getting as close as possible.

    If there was a rap concert prior to launch, more people would have viewed the launch. Even the networks had belly-up ratings. Kinda tells ya where funding of very near-future cosmic exploration is gonna end-up being funneled(climate change). Beautiful video. GoPro, is truly the King of action cams.

    • @bobatesomemayo
      @bobatesomemayo ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, even places as far out as Fort Pierce should have an okay view of it. Go to the Cape or somewhere along Cocoa Beach for the close-up view (best view)

      If you want cheap viewing just go to the shoreline in titusville, youll have to pay like $30 for parking. More expensive like this video will probably be $500 and will sell out quickly
