    • @JPMadden
      @JPMadden ปีที่แล้ว

      @@anthonyheffernan5537 Cheering, yes. Screaming like you're being murdered, no. How about clapping? You know the scene in "Dumb and Dumber" when Jim Carrey's character asks, "wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?" Well, the sound they could have played is a group of females shrieking as loudly and high-pitched as possible. It's the soundtrack of every boring talk show, to try to make something boring seem exciting. A rocket launch is already exciting. I realize making some noise is involuntary, but I wish this obnoxious screaming was not socially acceptable. I recently attended a high school hockey game. Sitting in front of me were a student and her father. Every few minutes the student screamed "wooooo!" at the top of her lungs, and it startled me every damn time. The timing was random, with no connection to what was happening in the game. I kept waiting for her father to tell her to stop it because she was annoying other people, but that never happened. I would have liked to have said something, but I didn't. I try to be polite and avoid confrontations. So, I'm complaining here. Men, I beg of you: teach the girls and try to convince the women in your life to not do this.
