My favorite part of this montage was 2:23 - 2:35 . I love that the replay is in perfect sync with the song, it only makes that ending spike 100 times more satisfying. Great work! Hail to King K. Rool! This is his finest hour!

I fully respect your choice to play King K Rool. Don't let those people who hate him stop you! I've played Villager since Smash 4 came out because I love Animal Crossing. I was even happier when Isabelle got thrown into the mix!

the name of the video is a nice nod to one of the songs from the cartoon series as well which had a tone very similar to a degree to Crocodile Cacophony. I approve
I remember fighting K. Rool in DKC,it was so epic! His theme was relaxing to listen to. Now seeing that he’s in smash and hearing his theme remade is so awesome!!
Long live the Kremling Kommander, King K.Rool! Of all the newcomers, he deserved to be in smash far more than the others. I include echoes and returning fighters such as Daisy, Wolf, and Incineroar to name a few. Why is it royalty fighters are so fun? Zelda, Ganondork, Dedede, K.Rool, and etc.
I was 4 when I first met the king, but that was on the 64. Only kharacter I wanted more was a bear and bird. Now that the king is here, and DLC 1 is the joke, I am konfident that they are a lock. But besides that point, we have our big and heavy king to kommand us for now.
@Kyzerz Listen, I would recommend that you play them on Rare Replay if you have an Xbox, but if you don’t, just know that they are one of the only games on the N64 to not feel clunky by today’s standards. The story is very simple and nothing to praise, but it gets tons of bonus points for the hilarity factor. The first game starts off with Gruntilda Winkybunion in her lair pulling a Snow White “who is the most beautiful of them all” gag. Her cauldron (because that’s what she talks into) first says her, then says Banjo’s sister, Tooty. She gets mad, and barges out of her lair on her broomstick. She kidnaps Tooty why Banjo’s sleeping, and now you must rescue her. That’s just the first game.
I have to say man, I watched this video the first day you posted, I always come back and rewatch it, I completely understand your feelings, I'm older than you but I grew up with the first 3 DKC on SNES when I was 5 years old, I have always had this affinity for King K Rool, I was sad he never came back after DK64, so when me and my brother watched this reveal we hugged as I cried my eyes out, I have wanted this since Melee and I can say for the first time in smash, I truly found my main. Just thanks for having just as much love for this character as I do. P.s. - I love watching your montages!
Anyone who says this character is trash has been playing against people who don't fully utilize his abilities. This guy can be amazing in the right hands, even with the frame data.
Kyzerz I hated that he was nerfed because people thought he was op when I knew that down throw was an upside that required opponents to not mash too well and belly armour holds the character up slightly and from day 1 I knew to hit k.rool from the side when he uses up special and I believed that k.rool is easily counterable even if I main him
i met the King as one of my first video game experiences as well. Back in the day we use to play DK 64 in my neighbors basement. Honestly think he might have been my first video game villain as far as i can remember.
I think I wanted K Rool in smash 4. He looked like a nice character for smash. And oh boi we had the same reaction. Hopefully Geno will come (or banjo, or rayman)
I ran into the king on the Super Nintendo on Donkey Kong country. Played all three Donkey Kong countries and the 64 version aswell. After many years of smash included it's a wonderful thing to see not only his theme, but a move set that is reminiscent to the boss fights you had to conquer an entire country to get to. All hail the King.

Tbh honest I didn’t know who King K was until I saw some fans asking for him, he seemed like a charming character and I’m so glad he got in even though I don’t know much about the DKC series.
I don't think his broken, I believe he's mid-tier and here's why: Pros: Can setup with crown and musket, has a powerful back-air, has armor on his belly, great recovery, can bury people, and has a counter/reflector. Cons: He's still a heavy character, so can still get combo-ed easily, breaking the armor on his belly results in a shield break, his counter is one-sided (attack has to hit the belly for it to work), back-air has a long time to start-up, taking his crown prevents him from using side-b, and the opponent has to be right next to him for his down tilt to bury. I'm sure they are other details that I'm missing, but that's all I can think of.

Rool and listened to the remixed soundtrack, when I played him, I then thought " THIS WILL BE MY MAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!" So thank you Sakuarai from the bottom of my heart for putting this THICC king croc who rocks your stocks in shock who locks and with no luck does suck and cuck.
I remember making these kinds of videos.. uploading things I thought were tourney clip worthy when there were only a few ones that were. Keep this up man, you'll get far if you never give this up! And make sure to practice on both K. Rool and editing, it'll get ya more of a name for yourself. Good luck!
