Vermont is my home and with more unpaved roads than paved, the wide are the easy choice. Thank you for providing great entertainment and substance. My favorite line you have is “tell me about your bike.”
Virginia- we out here. The wider AX would help me keep tackling the parks here. Thanks for giving these away to someone. Vids have been extra good lately.
Minnesota, where I already have wide wheels for our chunky farm roads, but could use a narrower set for mounting up tubeless cyclocross tires (for whenever racing comes back).
Dedicated Dirt Dog checking in from Washington state. Currently running some 30mm internal width 650b wheels. Really widens out those larger tires for plenty of cushion in the chunky stuff. Think those EA90ax would be a great option for this eastern Washington gravel!
A homie from IDAHO here! Interested in those there EA90ax girthy fellas. Ain’t never had something that nice before. Love your content, you’re channel really pushed me to get into longer gravel exploration rides!
California - I'm looking at the narrower rim set to upgrade the wheel set on my wife's bike. Shes rocking a stock Masi CX and has been joining me on a lot more road heavy rides as of late. I'd love to surprise her with a good wheelset.
If you were opting to use your gravel ride as a some time commuter, what width slicks? 35 or 40? Heading back to the office sooner than later and figure dual purpose for now, just an extra set of wheels. Easton EC 70AX for gravel EA 70AX for the commuter.
Washington Next to that capitol forrest playground. I've got 650b 24mm to fuss about with rose/cava but lacking those SL 90's! when I'm not out in the woods. Pretending n=1 eventually but excluding the mtb.
Ramblin’ in the California Desert, those EA90AX would have a good home and lots of adventures... My grandma used to say the wider the cushion, the sweeter the pushin’
I would love those wide 25 AX out here in the Lone Star State of Texas!!! They would be a hoot to shred some Tejas sand and desert dirt here on the plains my friend!!!
CA here! All followed up for some new adventures and inspiration to get out there. I’d go for the SL’s as I already have some wide gravel-ramblers wheels and would like to have a set of 30’s on the SL’s for the occasional road-focused rides.
I subscribed, I followed, I commented. I'm in Portland so you won't even have to ship them! I'm getting my first disc brake bike (posiedon redwood I think) when I can afford it. Times have been tough. Never had a set of good wheels and I love your work so it would be really cool to tell the story and cherish them until I get to shred some ramble gramble. Gimme dem wiiiiiiiide boys
Running 23mm rims with 50mm WTB Venture tires, set up tubeless here in Colorado. I've got a wide rim wheelset, so naturally I'd be interested in the 19mm
Greetings from NC, but missing the mountains of the PNW. Currently spinning around the tiny hills over here - wouldn’t mind those EA90SL wheels to make the slow climbs er, less slow.
Wisconsin born and raised. You know I’ve been subscribed for a while! Would soo soo love a mid range wheel set. Never smaller than 28c and usually 35-38 “most of the time”
California baby! I dig the wide ones for a nice monster-cross! I like to push the drop bar on the single track. No socials so maybe I’m not entered but whatever 🤷🏻♂️ lol! Look forward to your weekly posts.
Commenting from the great state of Missouri. Those narrower EA90s would be so sick with a skinny tire on my gravel rig for road rides! Current wheelset has and internal width of 25 and they ride nice. As always, thanks for the content! Look forward to the vids each week...
VA, a.k.a. the 2up2down, and would love the EA90s (25mm). I've got a 700c 19mm set already. The 25mm would slot in perfect between those and my 650B wheelset for when the ramblin' gets grambly but no so grambly that I want the 650B fatties (2.2") on there.
love from Minnesota my guy. have some skinnier and I am always wondering what it would be like to be on the bigger wheels, this video definitely helps quantify the differences.
I'm in Colorado. I would be especially stoked to get picked for the EA90 SL wheels! My rig has some beefy 650bs which are really great for the serious chunder like we have here in the mountains, but they definitely feel sluggish and heavy on mild gravel and road rides.
Hi Dustin, I live in Northern Michigan and i have a titanium gravel bike (Bearclaw). I currently run a narrow wheel set for road miles away from my tri bike. As I venture out into the more dirt roads for the shoulder season and those pesky automobile people, I need to run a wider set for the reasons you have outlined. I am interested in the AX disc. I ran Easton Wheels when I was a collegiate racer and loved them. Cheers. Look forward to hearing from you.
Washington. Just a few miles north of EBD HQ. The skinny SLs (19) please in order to make the stiggy have even more giddy up and match the already sweet Easton SL 90 carbon drops, cranks, and headset! Get some!;
176lbs with a Finna Landscape frame with American Classic wheels with 23mm internal width. Clearance up to 29x2.2 rear (pushing it) & up to 29x3 front (easy). I've ridden 28mm road tires on the road, 40mm wtb nano front and rear (34psi) on bumpy fire roads (I don't recommend nanos for the front, unless you ride on a straight line forever), 2.2 (29psi) inches rear and 2.6 front (22psi) descending gnarly trails the speed of a turtle. When you have avid bb7 brakes the limit are your brakes and the rigid fork, not the wheels or the tires.
Bay Area CA!!! I’d be diggin the Widenset. Im a large boy. 300 pound club. Not many wheels have been friendly to me. But I am rocking 50c Tires at the moment
Hello from Washington! Would love the AX wheels. Got my protagonist shirsey, making me the hero of my own story, and these wheels would be like when Apollo got his winged shoes from one of his favorite you tubers! Thanks for the informative video and reliably superb content.
I'm down in North Carolina (which you should drive the Millennial Vulcan down for a van meetup/bike extravaganza!). Really down for either wheelset, but I think the skinny SL makes more sense on my Journeyman since I have a 650bs wheelset for the gravelly singletrack adventures
I live in TX! I would love the skinnier set, which surprised me. After watching, I think the skinnier set would fit my riding style much better than my current wheel set. This video was super helpful! Thank you!
The state from which I follow you is Italy!!now I’m planning a new ride for Sunday to dispose of all food eaten today (and tomorrow)..italian food!so I will try for the first time my new 650b wheels(25mm inner w.) with Pirelli Cinturato Gravel H, but usually my gravel is dressed with 700c shoes (17mm inner w.) and 35mm G-one speed!! Of course, the Easton EA90SL could be the most beautiful shoes for my baby!
Connecticut- i like the chinkier wheelset since my bike came stock with a 18mm internal wheelset thats kinda heavy and i want to swap on some wider tires and the light weight is just a bonus!
🏆CONGRATULATIONS: Colton Larrison & David Pett I hope you two enjoy your new wheels!!
A friend of mine used to say “The wider the undercarriage, the better they ride”. Not sure if he was talking about bikes.
Seems applicable!
We from Utah here!
The wide AX would fit sick on me roll.
Thanks for the info .
Hi, I live in Washington and am very interested in winning the skinnier pair. I never win anything, but thanks anyway.
as deaf gravel cyclist, I have enjoyed your videos so far!. I am from Georgia!
Vermont is my home and with more unpaved roads than paved, the wide are the easy choice. Thank you for providing great entertainment and substance. My favorite line you have is “tell me about your bike.”
California.
The 25mm of the AX wheel set would be perfect to finally be able to run 50mm tires! :))
Love the content, keep it up!
In few mins, you shared more valuable info than I could find watching hours of other videos. Just subscribed.
Pennsylvania here. Our roads and trails require the extra width of the AX Discs! - Thank you!
Dedicated Dirt Dog checking in from Washington state. Currently running some 30mm internal width 650b wheels. Really widens out those larger tires for plenty of cushion in the chunky stuff. Think those EA90ax would be a great option for this eastern Washington gravel!

Up in the NORTHERN territories. Michigander here in Michigan. Loving the opportunity to shred some that SL wheel set! Stay safe, stay rad!
I’m in California, and I’m all about those ea90 AX my dude!
Do you think a wider wheel is stronger? It’s certainly perceived that way.
Watching from New Orleans/Kenner - Louisiana - My Diverge is screaming to try out el flaco SL Discs! Enjoying your videos.
Virginia the wide set would be awesome on my my Lynsky got some sketchy down hills.
Thanks for what you do
Arizona! Easton AX disc. Gotta have those phatty bom batties for the chunky stuff we call gravel down here.
Out here in California. EA90 SL would be perfect for the winter season!
California, Easton AX
solid choice!
@@EverythingsBeenDone new bike soon for these perhaps
California, a skinny wheel set for some on road and off road bike camping is right up my alley
California - I'm looking at the narrower rim set to upgrade the wheel set on my wife's bike. Shes rocking a stock Masi CX and has been joining me on a lot more road heavy rides as of late. I'd love to surprise her with a good wheelset.
Would love some AX Discs here in Washington state. Would definitely help me during the winter months.
If you were opting to use your gravel ride as a some time commuter, what width slicks? 35 or 40? Heading back to the office sooner than later and figure dual purpose for now, just an extra set of wheels. Easton EC 70AX for gravel EA 70AX for the commuter.
Dual duty is a smart move!
If your just commuting on them I would lean 35.
@@EverythingsBeenDone panaracer slicks on order, thanks neighbor, dude, all things groovy about gravel bikes!
First time caller but long time viewer. Cali calling in. The skinnies look good as I'm not a dedicated dirt dog yet
Greatings from Michigan. The Easton AX would be amazing for our sandy gravel here!
Those Ea90 SL’s would be perfect for winter roadie rides out here in Portland OR
Riding gravel here in WA and would love a set of those EA90 AX wheels
Washington
Next to that capitol forrest playground. I've got 650b 24mm to fuss about with rose/cava but lacking those SL 90's! when I'm not out in the woods. Pretending n=1 eventually but excluding the mtb.
Being in Oregon you just told me either will work wonderfully. The EA90 SL please!! Skinny wheel for a Semi-Skinny bike.
Here in California! I like em chonko! So the AX would be my preference! So cool you're giving them away!
Slowly building up my dream bike here in eastern Washington and those wide wheels would be the cherry on top! Got you and Easton on the gram too.
How about repeating the test by holding a steady power output and tell us how long it took to cover the same route on both sets of wheels?
Michigan - EA90 AX DISC - nice work.
Ramblin’ in the California Desert, those EA90AX would have a good home and lots of adventures...
My grandma used to say the wider the cushion, the sweeter the pushin’
California, the northern windy and not always sunny side of the state, would love the SL Disc!
straight to the point, vice video
i guess i am ok with 19c rims and 38c tyres, i dont want bigger cause i use it on the road more
You will be just fine!! Thanks for rolling through.
I would love those wide 25 AX out here in the Lone Star State of Texas!!! They would be a hoot to shred some Tejas sand and desert dirt here on the plains my friend!!!

Portland, Oregon and I’m liking the EA90AX. Thanks for the info and the chance to win those!
Running 23mm rims with 50mm WTB Venture tires, set up tubeless here in Colorado. I've got a wide rim wheelset, so naturally I'd be interested in the 19mm
In Idaho. No preference on which wheel, because they'd both get used, but first choice would be the wider set.
Keep up the great work.
Greetings from NC, but missing the mountains of the PNW. Currently spinning around the tiny hills over here - wouldn’t mind those EA90SL wheels to make the slow climbs er, less slow.

Western North Carolina, definitely need the wide wheels here!
Hailing from TN and I'd be happy with either set but the AX disc would fit the bill for my Orbea Terra nicely.
Colorado - wide rims preferred as these would be for a gravel bike due to arrive in a couple of weeks
Hi there Dustin, i'm in Kansas and I would love the skinnier SL DISK. Mostly road and some top quality amateur gravel..
VA, a.k.a. the 2up2down, and would love the EA90s (25mm). I've got a 700c 19mm set already. The 25mm would slot in perfect between those and my 650B wheelset for when the ramblin' gets grambly but no so grambly that I want the 650B fatties (2.2") on there.
Arizona riding requires something bassier. I’d love the wider version. More base please. It’s all about that base
In VA.
Like the SL Disc.
