@@flncrs7012 It sorta suffers at 8.0, you will get constantly uptiered facing stabilized tanks, at most you can play it like a sniper/light tank. Imo it should be 7.7.

can i ask something? when i play in for ej: air RB and i get killed by a enemy that looks suspicious, and i tell to the chat: HACKER/AIMBOT/BOT (climb by no reason and has perfect shots, reserving the shots) and others things and the lvl 100 players tell me: skill issue/lol and they bully me telling me im lvl 35!!! BRO, IM PLAYING IN RANK IV MATCHES, OBVIOUSLY IM LVL 35, WHY MORE IM GOING TO PLAY RANK IV, IF I HAVE PAIN IN TOPTIER, I PROBABLY PLAY RANK I!!! can someone tell me why the lvl 100s are so toxics? they think they are good cuz they are lvl 100 but when i kill someone with lvl 100, im sure they rage inside themselves
Well, chances are they arent hacking, you just aren't good enough, there is more that goes into Air combat than just shooting ahead. Energy conservation, better turn rates, different fighter roles, and higher velocity rounds. Just because they're better does not mean they are cheating.
I see people complaining about this tank but honestly, my stock grind wasn't that bad. Play it as a light tank (flank when you can) as it has no armor. Even if you do have armor, don't rely on it as someone could just disable your barrel or shoot the one weakspot you have. I've used multiple tanks with apds doing pretty much nothing and surprisingly, dm13 has not gaijin'd me at all yet although I am using dm12 as my main round. Aim for ammo but if you can't, shoot out the gunner or gun breach/cannon. Listening to where enemies are is very useful but sometimes inconsistent as someone could be dead silent for no reason. Overall, one of my favourite tanks to play atm.
The Leopard 1 was designed with HEAT munitions in mind. German engineers thought that HEAT munitions would make traditional homogenous steel useless. This was before the invention of ERA, so instead the engineers opted for thinner armor in exchange for weight and mobility.
As true as this may be, this is the BR where armor starts to become not as useful due to HEATFS, APDS, and hell even early APFSDS. In my opinion it should be 7.7 and not 8.0. Since everything is just better at the BR than the Leo 1.
That tank was the reason ive deleted this game,absolutely useless shells which are only scratching my opponents backs,zero armor,ship size,no stabilizer.Man ive loved panteras,tigers,shermans gameplay and was rocking at this brs,but this tank is an embarrassment,you just played a lot to get that piece of junk.

If you take only 15 shells with you there wont be ammo next to your driver making the tank less explosive

When the Leo 1 was 7.3 it was so good, ah the good old times.
One of the best tanks in that tier if not the best, i loved it, idk how it is now, i didnt play it more than 1 year

yeah its bad now but this was once the best mbt in the german tech tree it faced jumbos and IS 2s most of the time.
