I'm pretty sure I read an article when the actor playing Keanu was saying when he spoke to the bosses about returning, they laid out the story plans and he jumped at the chance and has now signed a full-time contract. So I'm pretty sure he's staying.

Love the way Phil still does his pensioner hardman act. Keanu could take him out with a couple of punches in reality yet we have to pretend otherwise. He will probably still be scaring twenty somethings when he is in his 80s on the show.

The aura of hardman Phil Mitchell is becoming increasingly hard to take seriously given the character's health and alcohol problems. But he just carries on coming out on top despite the misery and deaths he has caused directly and indirectly. No doubt he will triumph again here again - and he will probably still be doing so in 25 years time in the Walford old people's home!

I have waited for sooo long for Keanu to return back to the square on Eastenders. His character has so many interesting storylines so I can’t wait to see what happens but what ever does happen I want his character alive on Eastenders. Yes Keanu has done some really unforgivable things but he has put his life on the line sometimes for Phil surely that should mean something and now he even given him proof against Keeble and the moment he mentions Sharon he then throws him out 🤦♂️.
