Sheba the Weimaraner and the Bunny in SloMo Play

Sheba the Weimaraner and Freddy the bunny play tag in the backyard. She is just amazing with the bunny, we are quite sure she thinks it's her child. Make sure you look closely at the 52 second mark where stays on three legs and keeps her front left leg off the ground so she doesn't hurt the bunny. All due respect to the Weim, her impulse to capture is great and the bunny is so small and fragile. She can't be held liable for a mistake in her bite or play capture! It's the humans job to keep them both safe after all.
The rest is entertainment for all, but clearly with the bunny at the bottom of the power pyramid!

Great socialization! My weim puppy is playing with our kitten. But he is a bit rough with him. We have to monitor them at the moment otherwise those sharp teeth can make a lot of damage

I think it has a lot to do with timing (age of each). We had another bunny when Sheba was a puppy and they also played but they bunny got out (we rarely caged the bunny)

Hi, never really trained her to play with the bunny. I guess she understood it was part of the family not a pigeon etc to chase...

when my labrador was playing with my bunny she accidentally hurt him and he broke his rib and died :( your dog is way less clumsy, luckily!

Yep, Sheba had amazing coordination from really early on. I guess it also accounted for mouth control too!
