Yes one of the 2 Sarah's will most likely do it, I doubt they will use Emma Clarke ever again and Janet Mayo has never done any since 1992 for the Central Line trains.
@@Nick_80599 they should use Emma Clarke she is one of the only decent calming announcer, but dont get me wrong Sarahs voice is quite nice ON S STOCK and northern line Victoria ok but shouldn’t replace all stations. But ewww Waterloo and city lines and central she sounds ew and is trying to be Emma Clarke
Brilliant! It saved me a long, cold and windy walk (tho' I could have caught one of two 'bus routes) to Battersea Park Road, from Sloane Square Station; and I did not have to change from East Finchley to Battersea!.
@@BVECentral i mean same trains with different motors. but they have the same capability of max speed, acceleration etc. the reason why northern line is slower than jubilee is because of northern line is much older than jubilee line and the line has a limited speed of 45 mph.
Have all Northern Line stations been recorded in this new voice or is it just these two? Out of curiosity does anyone know who this new voice is? (Maybe Sarah Parnell like all the others?)
Other stations should still be the original voice which is Celia Drummond. Unfortunately Celia passed away earlier this year and therefore wasnt able to record the new announcements despite the fact Tfl have had 6 years to get the recordings done 🙄
@@CamsTransport they could still make it by usething the ones she made and snipping them together or find another voice to redo the entire line. Not mix and match a crappy tts with celias amazing voice!
Sarah! She voiced the new 2 stations!
Yes because celia Drummond passed away
I take it she’ll be doing the rest of the line over time
RIP Celia Drummond

IT'S BATTERSEA POWER STATION STATION!
Sounds very smooth!
The Battersea Power Station signages was put up by me and my team fun fact we wrote messages behind them
Please do full journey Northern Line Morden to Edgware via Bank.
Was hoping to see the tunnels transition from old to new and its at 2:00 i think nice job
Good thing the rest of the announcements are the same
The Jubilee line is faster than Northern line train.
they are the same trains
They’re not, one is 1995 stock the other is 1996

What is that noise when the train enters Nine Elms, Battersea Power Station and New Platform at Bank?
I done that same route
Northern Line 1995 Tube Stock
On 20 september is the Northern line Extension to Battersea Power Station!
I live near battersea power staion
Shame the stations all look like Canary Wharf and not inkeeping with the rest of the Northern Line.
Yeah it’s giving Canada Water vibes just like on the Elizabeth Line
well Health and safety laws and accessability laws is the reason why the two new stations had a Canary Wharf like design.
Just without the platform edge doors
Yeah, Battersea Power Station Station (lol)
35th like. I know someone who's worked for this extension with a tunneling company
According to Google Maps this journey takes 7 minutes. I don't think it really is that long!
No its Battersea Power Station Station
Quite far to Nine Elms, intit?
Depends where you’re coming from

New is Sarah, yes. IDK about the other stations

@@Allotmenting_Plot15 No its Elinor Hamilton
@@mattmainline7252 It is Elinor Hamilton
I never see this new two Station
I want to go to Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station. Since the Northern Line extension is now fully opened.
e-travelling from NZ... and not a sign of Geoff or Jago...
Should've called it "Battersea Power"
Yep
60 mph ❓
:)
The announcements I'm angry!!!! The old ones were better 😭😭😭😭😭 i hate the northern line now
i think they would of had the old ones if the announcer of the old ones were still alive.
@@CamsTransport they could still make it by usething the ones she made and snipping them together or find another voice to redo the entire line. Not mix and match a crappy tts with celias amazing voice!
Unfortunately, many of us noticed that, it insult her more and feels forced
@@CamsTransport Noooo I can’t believe Celia Drummond died!! Ive just found out from you saying it, I just read she died in January this year. RIP❤️
To be fair though these announcements sound remarkably like Emma Clarke’s voice on the old D78 District Line trains, which is no bad thing imo.
