Another example of our police force abusing section 43 of the Terrorist Act 2000. Perhaps one of the most cynical examples of this Act being misused and abused by UK Police. To think that this Act was introduced as a direct response to terrorist organisations in the Middle East leading up to the 2001 9/11 Twin Tower attacks, yet instead to this day is being misused by Police to exert their dominance to violate those that choose to film in public (which is our RIGHT). i guess its up to the auditor to show that there are no reasonable grounds to suspect they are a terrorist, in which case this then opens the door up for the police to potentially advise him to stop deliberately filming in in a way that gains a reaction and wastes police time
No it’s a cornerstone of British law. It’s not for the public to prove their innocence, the proof of burden is on those that claim that the auditor is committing an offence.

Talk about overkill. I've never seen so many officers come out of a station just for someone filming. Please go back to the last station where you got arrested. I think the more you do the same location the more they realize it's just not worth the aggravation to detain and question you.

Great audit Sir! Staggering the amount of officers it takes to deal with perfectly legitimate public photography. These people need to be beating the streets...putting away muggers and rapists.
For future reference, when they say they're going to search you, ask what stolen or illicit items they reasonably expect to find on you. They must answer that question, before the search.
You need to find a way to continue recording when they do the searches. Put the camera down but don't switch it off. It should still record the audio. Then, immediately they uncuff you pick up the camera and continue filming them, we need to see the look on their faces. Your videos are great but are only 75% complete/useful if we don't see what happens after you switch the camera off.
You are definitely one of the top UK auditors. Can i request the next time the "police" approach you, just remain silent. Think of it as an experiment, go on, just the once. lol :)

What would happen in the UK if you were to remain silent from the first moment of contact? Could they use that to further abuse the Terrorism Act, as well as other laws? I have never seen an audit there where nothing is said by the auditor. You could be the first!

Great video mate. I think most of the auditors are now gonna get more interactions with the police, due to them getting shown up because of their lack of knowledge of the law on photography.
Maybe you need to set up again in the same place as soon as your released, that would piss them off. And stay as long as you can as by detaining you they achieved their goal, in stopping you filming.-
I guess they are just fed up of (ahem) 'auditors' filming their number while asking "what's your number" yet they're too polite to say it's right in front of your face you....

Very embarrasing considering the met police were the ones who drafted the rules on PINAC public photography in the first place.
Don't worry about innit. Just be yourself. Innit or not. You are actually very on the ball, quick and concise with your answers and this is what puts the Police on the back foot. Compared to other auditors you are miles ahead in delivery and intellect.

I would think that tickles their ego. Don't acknowledge their power because they are just servants of the law.

Or even better, get a Vivitar 360 degree camera and mount it on your shoulder. That way you can capture everything happening around you. What would happen in the UK if you were to remain silent from the first moment of contact? Could they use that to further abuse the Terrorism Act, as well as other laws? I have never seen an audit there where nothing is said by the auditor. You could be the first!

Report a crime and they might contact you by phone two or three days later, produce a camera outside a police station and they swarm all over you to protect themselves.
Do not apologise for the way you speak. Do not change yourself to suit others. You are representing your generation. People need to get real, speaking this way does not in any way shape or form mean you are a bad person. You are the people of the future and need to put across a point. Regardless of where you are from, how and where you were raised, what your accent is, does not mean you cannot be intelligent, respectable members of society. Keep educating people. Be yourself!

Great video mate. I think most of the auditors are now gonna get more interactions with the police, due to them getting shown up because of their lack of knowledge of the law on photography.
