Theres a packing you can do with clothes on hangers - poke a hole through the bottom of the bag with your hanger and place it over your clothes while they’re still on the hanger. Therefore you have the hanger hooks hanging from the top of the bag and the clothes are covering with the garbage bag. So that wherever you go with them you just move them by grabbing the hangers.
A better hack is putting the clothes into a trash bag the way you would trash, tie the ties around the hangers, and then when you move you can untie them instead of tear them and use the trash bags for all the moving trash/save them for the trashcan
