- On Prime Time, we visit Saharanpur to understand the woes of Dalit Muslims or Pasmanda Muslims who face discrimination by the upper caste Muslims and people of other communities as well. Villagers at Kasampura -- a Muslim dominated village - in Saharanpur tell us about what they do to make living and also about the difficulties they face in getting into respectable jobs. Anyways, you are correct in essence but I think these are people who were _Hindu Dalits_ and then converted to Islam and still carry the stigma of _dalits_ even after becoming Muslims. That is probably why they are being discriminated against by other Muslims....which in reality is against Islam.

Real enemies of Indian Muslims are the secular politicians, journalists, pseudo secularists who misguide them by creating a wedge between them and their country men who are Following Hindu path. There are many similarities between Indian Muslims and Indian Hindus then differences. Difference is only on the religion they follow but in most of the other issues there are commonalities. The biggest uniting force is the gene which is same for both. Indian Muslims have not come from Middle East and are very much from India. But the secularists are afraid that in case this commonality is known to both Hindus and Muslims, there votes cannot be fortified. Hence they create a fear psychosis amongst Muslims about Hindus. Educated Muslims are seeing through this game.
