It’s why I stopped watching the show after last years Crisis Crossover. The show got too damn inconsistent. Like he can run to China in under 5 seconds but Cicada (who’s maybe 20ft away) gets away 10+ times? Yeah... no. There was so much they could’ve done from the beginning, like keeping his identity a secret from his loved ones (I liked how Arrow did this. Added a whole level of suspense in some episodes). Literally everyone in the city knows who he is. Most of the episodes got repetitive. Just “rEveRsE tHe PolAriTy” and bad guy/girl gone. Top it with the fact that the CGI has been terrible recently. And then they had to bring her daughter into the mix, which just made things extra confusing and cringey (like, Schway?). I shouldn’t have to read the comics to understand what’s happening.

Wally's headpiece doesn't cover his hair. Just his ears and his eyes. That makes it waayy easier for normal people to identify who wally is

Just one example, you have Barry, in S1 or S2, who catch a bullet shoot at the back of his head, when he felt the "contact". End of S3, Savitar is killed by Iris who... Shoot him. Or the "i dont want to mess with the timeline and create another Flashpoint", when you have literally 3 speedster from the future who go back in time with no problem. Or the all cringy "my children" about the forces in s7. etc...
