Nice playing and demo. Love that bridge pickup. Yes, I had about 4 EB3’s as well as multiple Fenders, Stingrays, Sterlings and an Ibanez ATK which was like an EB3 and stayed in tune abit more. Now, I have a burgundy Warwick Jack Bruce Survivor bass which is huge. Would consider getting this SG bass just to play Sweet Wine from Live Cream. What this bass allows you to do is bend strings. Bend to the ‘’blue note”, bend to the octave from the 7th pushing against the fret, like Jack Bruce did in West, Bruce & Laing and Live Cream. Very nice for power trio jamming.
I have one of these in Worn Black, truly a sleeper hit. The bridge pickup can sound just as nasally and cutting as instruments that rhyme with Schmender Schmazz.
..I have a 2012 SG Special bass. They seemed to have dropped the Special, and decided to the term, faded. Chocolate satin looks good, after a while the whole bass looks as if it's all mahogany..
Late reply, but I recently tried this bass out and it is perfect for blues. If you mix both pickups right and turn the tone low, it gives a great blues tone.
I don't know what it is but the tone of an EB-3 is so nostalgic for me

I like it as different from most Fenders or Ricks nowadays.
Thanks!
Thank you!

Is it shot-scale?
Yes.
@@DoYouLikeGear thanks!
Do you see the video?
Do you think it's versatile enough?
If you’re looking for a versatile bass this isn’t it. It’s pretty restricted.
@@dingeskerz It's only as restricted as each individual's imagination.
