Only 790 subscribers? This has got to be the most underrated TH-cam channel I’ve ever seen! This should be 790K at least. Absolutely loved your Amalfi Coast and Croatia videos, watching this one right now. Keep up the good work!

I'm not quite sure where to go for my first ever solo trip, I'm leaning towards a package holiday to Budapest. I want a package holiday because you can get a full refund if your flight gets cancelled. I had a flight to Dubrovnik on the 8th of June and it got cancelled 10 hours before! If I had bought a hotel separately then I probably wouldn't have got a refund, I could be wrong though. Have you got any advice?

If you've watched any of my other videos you'll know how I feel about package holidays. There's ways you can protect yourself from this.
      1. Book with an airline that offers refunds or at least lets your re-book at no extra cost.
      2. Pay for anything on a credit card, if this happens you can get your money back via your credit card company. This happened to me as the pandemic happened and I got all my money back when I claimed this through my credit card.
      3. Travel Insurance, most policies will cover you for this.
      4. Booking.com/airbnb offer free cancelation options on your accommodation.
I have a guide on Budapest which I would recommend, try and book your trip independently because you save so much money! You can go away to Budapest for 4 days for £75pp!

@@jacklawsontravel so instead of a package holiday, I should just buy a flight to Budapest with Ryanair and find a place to stay on booking. com or Airbnb? Sounds easy enough, what about transportation to my hotel?

@@LincolnClay98 Exactly that, goes with whatever flight is cheapest. There's a bus that runs from the airport to the city centre. It's really simple. I have guides on how to get cheap flights and accommodation if you need any help with that. 🙂
Here's a video i did on Budapest and which should answer a lot of your questions. th-cam.com/video/FluiJbj2g28/w-d-xo.html

@@LincolnClay98 There's almost always a bus or train that will run into a major city from the airport. Very rarely will I get a a taxi. Just try and book your accommodation in a central location and make sure you read the reviews these are always helpful! I normally just go on a price comparison site and use that. Post Office are a good choice.
