I think that this is the future: IEMs with DSP within them. We have to wait and watch how things pan out in the future, but right now, with products like these, the future looks very bright to me! Thanks for the fantastic review! 🙌
Hi! New to the channel. Gotta say, I love how structured and practical your reviews are, giving lots of examples of music to listen to in order to illustrate the points you are making. Keep up the good work!
Hey paul do you recommend this over salnotes zero dsp? I'm new to IEM and this will be my first. I've heard that the salnotes are a bit flat compared to these. What would recommend?
hey paul, can you recommend me the best IEM with some good bass , clear sound quality and decent enough vocals . I usually listen to Hip-pop, pop, and bollywood songs. I have 5 options : 7hz Salnotes zero, Tangzu Wan'er, KZN ZSN PRO X ,qkz x hbb and Simgot EW100 DSP
I haven't tested the X hbb from this lot but the ZSN Pro X connected with me well. I've been wanting to buy one for myself ever since I reviewed it. The Wan'er is great for detail but is only bass happy if your recordings are really well done. So I'd say, the ZSN Pro X should be the best fit here. The Salnotes, I've seem some that have build quality issues, so I'm not 100% with that not. My current favourite is the Truthear Hola. It's got a great build and a sound to match. Healthy in the bass too.
@@PaulsPOV thanks for replying :)))... Oh so u don't recommend 7Hz Salnotes just coz of it's build quality right? I might be looking on to buy ZSN Pro X according..Is there sound quality reudction if i buy the one with mic? Or should i get without mic version??
The mic is for convenience. I dont see why it should reduce any quality in audio. Yea, the 7Hz face plate has been known to pop out. If you're okay sticking it back, it's a nice sounding set. But I still prefer how the ZSN ProX sounded over it. It's the one set of IEMs in that price range I've genuinely wanted to own because of how nice it sounds. Sure, you can see a bit of glue in the body of the KZ here and there, but the way it sounds trumps that flaw. Have a look at my review on it if you'd like to.
This is a great one-stop shop if you don't want to get into cable swapping and use dongle DAC/Amps. I like to have the option of using different hardware. A combination I've really like is the iFi Go Link DAC/Amp dongle with the Truthear Hola. It's a great set of IEMs to own on a sound and build front. Feel free to give my review on it a look if you'd like to.
Hello paul Slight weired question if you don't mind answering me... I have problem with iem eartips which has started from 1.5 year ago before that i can wear any earphone for long period of time... My questionIs it possible iem like simgot ew100p or truthhear hola without earbuds. I have used kz iem shape without earbuds but they are not that great. And over the ear headphone is fairly expensive for me.. Plese reply
Using any earphones without a proper seal will only lead to sound leaks in and out. It's worthwhile trying to play around with different kinds of eartips. Try out foam eartips if the silicon ones are causing you so discomfort. They tend to take the shape of your ear making it more comfortable.
@@PaulsPOV The probelm with foam earips as i read everywhere is they are not durable with average life is about 3 month carrying price tag aprox 800-900 rs. The probelm with ky kz that its loop was not accurate wrt my ear. Are these iem like hola and ew100p have better loop wrt to ear?
That way, fit will always be super subjective, Himanshu. You'll be better off trying different tips, loops, etc, until you find something that suits you personally and stick to it going forward. Each ear and level of comfort from person to person will always differ.
@@PaulsPOV i'll do that if i get the chance to visit any iem stores in future. Thanx Paul for sharing your opinion 😊. Sometimes i Wish if there a fierce competition exist of over the ear headphone like tws market. There are non existant option for PROPER over the ear headphone under 5k and barely under 10k althought the funny part is that headphones are the best bet for safeguarding our ear over prolonged period of uses
Oh yea, for sure, but it's obviously because of a pricing factor. Larger drivers, voice coils, materials for housing are bound to cost more. Who knows, maybe in a few years there will be a market like in the TWS price range.
I'm not too sure about how much customs will be. It's worthwhile checking on Google to see if these are available from a seller in India to avoid that customs and time delay.
Actually I am a student I want type c wired earphone that work with both my android phone and iPad with good vocals mainly.i thought it the product I needed (budget friendly) but sadly difficult to get
Maybe wait for a little while because these are a newer launch. These do very well with mid range performances. It might be available from some sellers here in a few weeks perhaps.
For punchy bass I've found the 7Hz Salnotes Zero and Truthear Hola to be good fun to listen to. No doubt it's not bloated like on wireless earphones, but it is enjoyable and more so if you tweak the lower range slightly with an EQ. These should be around 2K but are great sounding for the price.

Good review style! may I add a request if you can compare new items with any existing ones? that will give some reference to where they stand.
I'm slowly expanding into reviewing more audiophile gear, I will be introducing comparison videos for beginner IEMs soon.
Paul , simgot ew100 p vs moondrop chu 2. What's ur suggestion?
Sadly, I haven't tested the chu 2 yet.
hey paul, do you have any plan to review Tanchjim - ONE DSP soon? if so please consider comparing it with Truthear Hola and ZSN PRO X.
Are you a sound engineer ?
Hey paul do you recommend this over salnotes zero dsp? I'm new to IEM and this will be my first. I've heard that the salnotes are a bit flat compared to these. What would recommend?
Consider the JD1 USB C variant. It has multiple tunings you can choose, which is a very neat concept.
@@PaulsPOV okay I'll check them out, much appreciated!
How is the imaging and sound separation in Ew100p.ia it good for gaming (PUBG)??plz replyyyyy
It's good for detail and separation but not the most enthusiastic in the bass for loud explosions or heavy music.

@@PaulsPOV Ok thank youuuuu! I'm grabbing ZSN Pro X :)))
bought the jbl tune beam for 5099 inr on amazon yesterday when it was on sale, is it any better than the oppo eco air 3 pro and realme buds air 5 pro?
It's ANC isn't as aggressive as theirs, but I prefer it to them on a sound front. It's more fun to listen to.
Does this work with Samsung Phones
It's worked well on mine during testing.

This or zero 2 which is best for gaming (Pubg).plzzz replyyy
I haven't tested the Zero2 yet, so I wouldn't want to give you any wrong information.
Will these be able to give the details and clarity for all those high res audio files like a dac and a 3.5mm jack?
Many factors at play here, but in short, this will not perform better than the Simgot EW200 combined with the iFi Go Link.
@@PaulsPOV simgot ew100p type c vs ddhifi dac with ksn pro x earphones...which would better?I have narrowed my choices to these..please suggest
The combination that will cost you more will be better performers in this situation.
