It has completely refreshed my love of the game while we wait for DLC, and the mod is only in its Alpha! This mod was great. I was shocked going into Godrick's fight with his changes, and the some jank bosses were turned into all original bosses was even cooler, like the dude with the ruins greatsword. And I will never forget the Chad crucible knight right before Godfrey, that man had me shook with what he did.
as someone who literally cant play convergence i was kinda disappointed seeing a raya lucaria convergence playthrough and red wolf was replaced

I gotta say, convergence thoroughly surprised me. Normally I’m not big on mods that completely change the game (usually because the changes are stupid.) but convergence’s remnant crafting is a pretty refreshing and well designed system. The modded bosses are also pretty fun too, not something you normally see.
Another thing, there are multiple paths you can take to reach Farum Azula, you can reach in by going through the four belfry’s, a path that will lead you to the boss location of Lansseax, where she was replaced.
the misbegottens portal in castle morne actually makes sense because the misbegotten are outcasts and the sewers in leyndell are for outcasts and beings untouched by the erdtree i think

The Leonine Misbegotten leading you to the sewers actually makes sense, as they were part of the primordial form of the Erdtree. Once the modern Erdtree came in, the misbegotten, omens, and crucible knights were no longer viewed as holy beings.
I love how you and Kathy became a better and better duo as more of these videos are made. Also, it’s awesome how this mod has the caption of the night’s cavalry

I actually did the exact endgame Fell Flame build the first time, down to abusing Displacement and the Cyclops Sword. It was weird, seeing my exact build up on the screen like that. Excellent video, Dumpster!

you actually missed the glaringly obvious leyndell skip before trying to do the old jump. before east captial rampart grace there is a big ol tree root you can just walk down to the mountaintops elevator, handy for future runs :)
The convergance mod is just so great, so many good fixes (like the leo misbegotten actually having the sword it took )
And the systems introduced create a constant flow of things to do, like the waygates after each boss brings you right into more action.
And the class paths & runes are so good at guiding you toward the build you want, i miss it when going back to the vanilla game,
Props to the mod team, Absolute Legends ( And shoutout to the DS3 archrthones mod crew too, that is coming together great)

11:59 it kinda looked like he had the glowing rune eyes effect that usually denotes that an enemy when slain will drop more runes then normal, so perhaps that was why he dropped so many more than one would think he should since without fighting him again in another run it would be impossible to know if he always has that eye effect or not.

I just realized how funny it is for an albinauric to be the test dummy in the Roundtable, considering Gideon runs the place.
Having done a few playthroughs of Convergence myself, the mod is absolutely fantastic.
There are 2 teleports to the Halig Tree. One is in teh abandoned cave, after beating the Cleanrot boss fight. The other is in the Windmill village, after beating the godskin apostle there.
I fk love this mod. I like how the classes are unique in that if you want a status build, it gives you status spells and an easy way to upgrade them, same with all other classes. You don't start as a normal mage and have to gather certain spells for a build. Also, regenerating fp is such a good change. It's slow enough to not be spammy but it's also fast enough to not be annoying. You actually have to think about when you pop a blue flask or when to wait for a spell to be available.
But some starting locations are unfair. I wanted to do a rot playthrough and it just plonked me next to Millicent. You can't get to Milicent without going through Sellia, so i couldn't leave either. I had to go over the cliffs, past the boulder giant and over the rot mushroom things to get anywhere else. You're required to take fall damage to get out. or at least I think so, I spent a good hour trying to find a way to escape and that was the only way I found. but that's not it, the ancestor, thorn and bloodflame classes put you in the middle of liurnia as a level 10-15 character.
I really hope you do more on convergence, it was so, so much fun!
Dude, this video was like a breath of fresh air man, every who makes videos on elden ring are always so negative and do nothing but complain, so hearing you genuinely compliment the game and have fun is amazing.
I was literally brought to tears with how good this mod is. PLEASE upload a tutorial on how to download it, i want to play it so badly. I tried to follow the creators tutorial but it was literally just wrong after doing it step by step

I know this is old but, you get sent to Farum Azula for committing a cardinal sin against the Erdtree/Golden Order. It’s like a prison, that’s why there’s Beastmen and those worm guys in FA (Also why there’s no Stakes of Marika, they hate her there)
They added a "necromancer" skills, and literally 0 of them are necromancer skills.
One thing I wish for in elden ring is that the silurias tree ash of war be like the death poker and if you hold l2 it spins then you click r2 for the aoe slam that it does uncharged normally and R1 for the forward blast projectile
This mod has come out just in time for me! I am currently on Radagon on my first playthrough so I'll be able to try it very soon!
this mod is exactly why i wish consoles had more modding support, not being able to fuck around with amazing mods like this just because i’m on console is heartbreaking

beat convergence a few days ago with a friend. its freaking crazy to us that how much they add and change and its "alpha" like damn bro, the hell you planning? an entire new area? you gonna take us to one of the other lands they mention in item lore or something? damn. I went with first gravity and settled on lightning by the end of it all. not to spoil what the spells do but you do feel like some sort of god when you got the strongest spells of your class. like nothing short of a boss can stop you! or those weird royal revenants. but i kept a aoe heal just incase
The best part about the Convergence mod is that the authors let the general public test the mod for free! No paywall whatsoever.

Celestial Blade was my Go-To in the convergence mod, mad me feel like a God of Glintstone with that Skill.
I truly hope that they add something like that boss reward system in the dlc. Or at least some my variety around incantations, armor, spells, and etc

Decided to give convergence a go recently and I was very surprised with how easy it was to install Convergence for Elden Ring as it comes with it's own downloader after you get the file from nexus.

i admit that skarde is a cool boss with a cool entrance, but i think gideon would be way better to do.
gideon has always been this wise character, giving you advice and collecting info overtime, but he is also very manipulative, he can barely take care of his adoptive daughter, he hunts albinaurics, he uses scarabs to spy on people and he was one of the closest of tarnished to become lord, only losing to vyke and the player, so a cool solution would be just to give him a cool changed moveset and a chunkier health bar and the boss is way better.
These mods spoil those who have yet to play the official DLC (when it eventually comes out for Elden Ring), mostly because mods prove to be way better than anything you'd pay for.
The way gideon got tossed away by the real boss fight😂 (also dumpykong is one of the best content creators i ever watched)

Just in case this comment doesn't get buried and somebody with experience with the mod finds this, I got a question for the other Dragon Communion fans. Any builds (spells, items, physiks, weapons, armors) that maximize the use of the dragon JoJo stan spells?
Ok this is starting to make me want Elden Ring on my PC now. Already Platinum’d it on PS5 but I wanna try this mod! Totally gonna go for a Flame build and become Gwyn, Elden Lord of Fire
My one complaint is that any melee build here starts to feel kinda useless just due to the status build ups and damage of magic
also combining bloodflame and frenzy turns you into a god of chaos who is extremely hard to kill
edit: forgot about this but the sorceries feel like the got the short end of the stick at the end of the road, incantations (specifically bloodflame and frenzy) get these HUGE aoe attacks that while they drain lots of mana CHUNK bosses health while i feel like a needle just being a nuisance with sorceries
From how I see it:
They turned it more into rpg than souls-like so they do di something, that being making the bosses harder and craftier and all the more enjoyable.

I want to get this mod so badly because he said you can revive remembrance bosses I have thought for so long that fromsoft should put a feature on boss bonfires that lets you “remember” the fight so you can fight them again not even for souls just for the fun time fighting
funnily enough, there's a convergence mod for dark souls 3 that has the exact same feature
