This video saved me $70 at the body shop. Love DIY videos. Watched the video twice. Very informative and easy to follow. The tool info below was useful. Took me 10 minutes to do. Thank you so much!!

High Tech Dad , thanks so much for this video! I lost my side mirror when a big truck squeezed me over into a garbage can. I was so disappointed, I knew it would cost a ton and this is not anything I would normally expect I could do myself. Your video was great!!! SO helpful showing it was completely doable. Just like you said only took about 10 minutes. We bought the mirror on Amazon (mine is a 2013 Coupe SE) and your instructions worked PERFECTLY! We put two magnets on the end of our little wrench and it magnetized the whole wrench and with that and a little finesse, we were able to get that nut off without losing it in the door. THANKS SO MUCH!!!! GREAT Help! GREAT!

Just replaced my passenger side mirror on my 2015 Hyundai Veloster. Sourced the mirror from a wreckers as new was ridiculously priced. Followed these directions and it was almost exactly the same, plus I don’t think it took even ten minutes. Definitely have a 10mm socket on hand, and a thin flat head screwdriver with a towel is also recommended as mentioned by High Tech Dad.
The Veloster actually has a wedge of foam inside the frame to stop things falling further into the panel which was pleasing, but it didn’t have that extra node on the outside under the seal to hold it in place so I was a little nervy there and held in place with my other hand until I at least got the electrical connector in place and started the screws. Looks as good as new and I’m over the moon 😊.
Thank you so much for the video, this was exactly what I needed!

Very easy replacement. I used a small extendable magnet tool to help ensure I didn't drop the lower left nut. I replaced the right side mirror very easily. Thanks for this very useful video. I just need to figure out how to paint the panel on the front-facing side to match the other mirror and the rest of my car. Any tips on that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the Video, my daughter broke the passenger side mirror off, on her 2016 Hyundai Elantra. So I picked up a black one from eBay. For under $100 and replaced it in less than 10 minutes.
